Sandra Apartments

We chose the apartment because of the location: close to the beach, playground, city center. It was 100 m walk to the beach, very comfortable as we were with a toddler. It was also very close to the shops, restaurants and park. Apartment itself was compact but comfortable, not very new but we’re told it will be refurbished. Kitchen equipment was very basic, would be nice to have some more utensils or condiments. Here’s how the situation with the parking looks like: we parked out car on the parking place belonging to the building (which Sandra reserved for us when we came). The place was free, but not guaranteed, meaning when we moved the care, other tenant could park there. Parking on the street is not free, there is parking zone everywhere and it’s about 10 hrk/hour. There are also paid parking but I thing they are even more expensive. It is cheaper to buy a parking card for whole week (Sandra can arrange that), it costs about 500 hrk. Just calculate everything to make sure it actually pays off. Sandra is a lovely person, very cheerful and helpful. When I asked for a baby feeding chair she actually bought one from the Ikea! And when I asked for a mop it was there next day :)

Closenes of the beach had also many minuses: it was just over the boardwalk so it was very noisy at all times. There were lots of tourists, some kind of noisy train going there and back and plenty of restaurants with music and the smell of food. We couldn’t really have the balcony or windows open, even at night, because of the smells and noises.

Very clean and nice flat in the center of town.
