One-Bedroom Apartment In Ogulin

Although this property is advertised as a "Studio Apartment in Ogulin", it is actually located in Jasenak. If you ask me, that is an advantage rather than a drawback. Jasenak is a truly beautiful place. Reaching it requires about a 30-minute drive uphill from Ogulin, so having a car is essential. However, once you arrive, you are rewarded with peaceful meadows, forests, fresh mountain air, and a sense of calm that is hard to find elsewhere. It is the perfect place to slow down and recharge. One practical note for future guests: the owner is very friendly, but reservations are managed by Novasol. The PDF instructions we received contained an incorrect phone number for the owner. Fortunately, he found my contact details through Booking.com and called me himself. I recommend communicating through Booking.com or using the phone number shown on the Booking listing. This appears to be a Novasol error and not the fault of the owner or the local host, both of whom were kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The location itself is magical. Watching the sunrise from the balcony while surrounded by greenery was one of the highlights of our stay. It is also an excellent base for exploring the region. During our stay we visited Ogulin, including Ivanina House of Fairy Tales, Đula's Abyss, the Frankopan Castle, and Lake Sabljaci. We also enjoyed scenic drives towards Bjelolasica and the coast, passing forests, open meadows, grazing horses, and beautiful views of Kvarner Bay. We even spent a day swimming in Crikvenica. My daughter also loved the small playground in the garden and happily spent time there every day after our excursions. For guests without small children, nearby Klek and the White and Samarske Rocks offer some of Croatia's most spectacular hiking experiences. This part of Croatia is greatly underrated. There are no crowds or tourist traps, just beautiful nature, genuine hospitality and a rare sense of peace.
