We had a fantastic time here. The location of the property is great, the breakfast was good and the room had everything you need. Nino was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Warm hospitality in a great location We stayed at B&B Sicilia for four nights and felt very welcome. Nino is an exceptionally friendly and hospitable host. He was already waiting for us outside when we arrived, and because we arrived much earlier than the official check-in time, we were allowed to use the room straight away. That was very much appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served every morning on the rooftop terrace, with a choice of sweet and savoury options, yoghurt and fruit. The terrace itself has a beautiful view over Castellammare del Golfo, which made breakfast an especially nice start to the day. The location is very convenient: the harbour and lively historic centre are within walking distance. Keep in mind that Castellammare is built on a slope, so the walk back uphill can be quite demanding in high temperatures. Parking can be a little confusing at first. The blue spaces are paid parking, but we found the ticket machines rather unclear. A useful tip is to park a little higher up the street above the B&B, where parking is free. From there you can simply leave the car and walk down to the harbour and old town. Nino is always willing to explain everything and help where he can, although his limited English sometimes leads to some amusing misunderstandings. His personal and genuine hospitality made our stay especially enjoyable. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a lovely location in Castellammare del Golfo.
