Casa de la Corbu

Am petrecut un concediu minunat la Casa de la Corbu și nu pot decât să recomand din suflet această locație! Dacă ești în căutarea unui loc unde să te deconectezi complet și să te bucuri de liniște, acesta este locul ideal. Ce mi-a plăcut cel mai mult: Mâncarea: Un mare plus pentru faptul că se gătește proaspăt în fiecare zi! Mâncarea este absolut delicioasă, cu gust autentic, ca la mama acasă. Este o plăcere totală să știi că ai preparate calde și savuroase mereu la dispoziție. Gazdele: Absolut extraordinare, primitoare și atente la fiecare detaliu. Te fac să te simți ca acasă încă din prima secundă. Curățenia și atmosfera: Camerele sunt impecabile, iar curtea este o oază de verdeață perfectă pentru relaxare după o zi petrecută la plajă. Cu siguranță vom reveni cu drag de fiecare dată când vom simți nevoia de o evadare la mare!

From the start, we were greeted with genuine warmth and kindness. The hosts are incredibly courteous and always ready to help, and the staff are equally friendly and sincere. The food was a standout – fresh, traditional meals and homemade desserts, all delicious and affordable. There’s also equipment available for guests who want to cook or grill themselves, which adds a great personal touch. The yard is a lush, green oasis full of fruit trees, flowers, and bushes – beautifully maintained and in sharp contrast to the dusty surroundings. It’s pet-friendly, and despite limited space, there’s even a playground and swings for the kids. What truly makes this place special is the owner’s dedication. Even in the face of local challenges, they never stop striving to ensure guests are happy. This place should be a standard for how hospitality is done. Bravo!

Not a complaint, just a couple of things that could make a great stay even better: the extendable beds and pillows could be more comfortable, especially for longer stays. Regarding the shower, we discussed with the owner the difficulty of regulating hot/cold water and pressure. They were very transparent and explained that they’ve already invested significant time and effort trying to resolve the issue, though results haven’t been consistent yet. It's clear they're still actively working toward a solution, and we appreciated their honesty and commitment to improvement. While we eventually got used to it, it might be uncomfortable for some guests at first.
