Price and cleanliness

The room might be a bit too small.

Really enjoyed our stay at Yotel. It is a very busy hotel, however, we never had any issues with noise throughout the night. The rooms are tiny, but this is detailed in the description so wasn't a suprise. Luckily we had one large suitcase only, however, if we had had two we definitely would have struggled for room. It is well designed with everything you need, given there is so much to do in Singapore it really was the perfect place given the price point and location. Within a 30 second walk you are right on Orchard. It was quite clean as well, I don't have any faults there, housekeeping came once a day. The bed was quite comfortable as well

Just expect it to be tiny! Nothing really otherwise :)

Location, good smell in the entrance hall.

- My room had been undergoing renovations shortly before my arrival, so there was a strong smell of solvent. The evaporation of the solvent is a health hazard. Based on the other reviews, other guests also complained about this. I asked for a room change, which I got, but rooms should not be given to guests like this. - The room is completely unusable as a hotel room, there is almost no surface to put down my things, there was nowhere to put down or open the suitcase, the panoramic bathroom is unusable because every time you use the toilet you have to pull down the blinds, which makes the room dark. Although the hotel is new, the furniture was quite worn. I also didn't like the fact that you enter the room directly and the door practically opens onto the bed. The room was so small that you had to constantly go around the bed. Although the room was for three people, there was only one chair, which if I opened it, you couldn't walk in the room anymore. The high ceiling of the rooms did not compensate for the small floor space. - The room is advertised as having been designed using space-saving solutions from first-class airplane cabins. My suggestion would be that hotels should not adopt design ideas from airplanes when designing hotel rooms, but rather the design of first class hotels.
