Great stay if you want to get a sense of Munduk and its tropical mountains and views. Highly recommended.

The privacy of the 2 bedroom villa was excellent . Loved the pool and the view from the villa. The vegetation was very memorable.

The restaurant was under renovation and we were informed only a week or two before our arrival. The kitchen was open, but eating on a coffee table was not convenient. There was also a major renovation going on in the adjacent villa that created a lot of noise which was stopped promptly after we complained. Nevertheless, the food service as very good and the management was exceptionally responsive and apologetic.

I liked everything, keep in mind you are in Munduk, so it has a a more rustic , connected to nature feel. Comfy bed, sheets, shower, with a cabin feel . Beautiful views, privacy, and great service and pool.

We had a wonderful stay, great activities, and excellent service. We will return around Christmas.

The breakfast was very nice. Although the fruits were not ripe for eating. The location is stunning and convenient. The property is beautiful. The comfort is great. The staff is exceptional.

In the bathroom, a little light over the mirror would be great. The shower head was leaking and not well fixed - this could easily be repaired. In the bedroom, one of the bedside lampshades was not fixed to the vase, I fixed that.

The location was beautiful up in the mountains covered with greenery. It was very quite there so would recommend if looking for a nice quiet time away from the busy Bali. The rooms were spacious and very well laid out and very comfortable. The pool and restaurant were also very clean and looked out over the lovely scenery.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Munduk Menir Villas, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush mountains of Munduk, this hidden gem offers breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and a tranquil escape from the busy tourist areas. The villas are beautifully designed with a mix of traditional Balinese architecture and modern comforts. My villa was spacious, clean, and featured a stunning private balcony overlooking the greenery. Waking up to the sound of birds and mist rolling over the hills was truly magical. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. From arranging local excursions to recommending the best nearby waterfalls, their hospitality was top-notch. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the nearby waterfalls and rice terraces. The location is perfect for nature lovers who want to hike, enjoy scenic drives, or simply relax in a peaceful setting. If you're looking for a serene retreat in Bali away from the crowds, I highly recommend this place.

Loved this property and the view and surroundings! Staff were always so lovely and friendly! Bathroom was lovely and bed was extremely comfy!

The only thing we didn’t enjoy is being on the bottom floor, the people staying above us were always soooo noisy and could constantly hear them stomping around or talking, which ruined the serenity of the place for us!

Superb

The view was the best we had in Bali, Munduk itself is quiet and small and you can't walk anywhere but you don't need to when at this hotel. Very beautiful, very clean and lovely staff (comfiest bed on the whole trip). I would recommend including breakfast and dinner when you book unless you would like to get a taxi each night you stay. This was the only place we stayed that had a heated pool as well which was amazing we loved our stay here.

Avoid if possible and do day trip to Munduk from other locations (Ubud, Lovina...)

The location is very remote and with a beautiful view of the mountains

This was the most disappointing accommodation during our trip to Bali. The value that you get for the rates they charge is inferior to everything else we experienced during our travel. The rooms are very very humid, there is no ventilation whatsoever which makes the air heavy and dull. Being a remote location the only option for dinner is to use their restaurant, which is another disappointment - the food had no taste (seemed warmed up and not freshly cooked) and the prices are waaaay too high for what's being served. Breakfast was another poor surprise - although it's included in the rate, you can chose only 1 option from the menu (you have to pay extra even for e.g. for bread/toast) and only with one slightly warm cup of coffee (if you want another proper coffee you have to pay on top, with the highest prices we've seen in Bali). Compared to the other hotels we've stayed during our vacation, where you get unlimited fruits/coffee/water, this was simply sub-standard. In summary, they charge 4-star rates but underdeliver on all services. For visiting the scenery in the Munduk area it's better to do daily trips from Ubud!

We would love to come back.

We very much enjoyed our stay here, the location is perfect and our cabin had the most beautiful views over the mountains. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, they really can't do enough for you. Sonja in particular was lovely. The food here is also to a really high standard, some of the best we've had in Bali. If you value the tranquility of this part of Bali then this is the place for you.

Beautiful location, the staff were very friendly and anticipated our needs before we knew them. The food is delicious and the place is very quaint and cosy.

We were initially on the bottom floor of a two story villa. The people upstairs were extremely loud because the villas are made from wood. The staff were very accommodating moving us to a different villa that was available for our stay. After that we were able to sleep and enjoy relaxing in peace.

Great Hotel, except if you actually want to SLEEP.

Location is Incredible, the view is breath taking ! Facilities were nice, modern, pool, jacuzzi and fireplace with a view. Restaurant was one of the best we tried in Bali, menú And Food were nice and reasonably priced :) Most confortable bed We had for a long time !

Unfortunately, there is a downside. Even though the hotel is a bit more fancy/luxurious than others in Bali, its also much more expensive. 4x the price of others we went to and we're almost as nice, so I think the price here should be at least divided by two to be in line with other Balinese Hotels. And now the big issue : This housing is to be luxurious, the was a Rooster singing from 12am to 1am, and then CONTINUOUSLY from 4am until 10am, just under our window, about 6meters from my hears. I was unable to sleep and spent one of the worst night in ages. The first goal of an hotel being to sleep, it's not OK not being able to sleep. I know these animals walk around freely there, but at that price for a "luxurious" hotel, a solution has to be found ! Have some fences to prevent them going too close from the rooms, take them in at night ? As there is a security guard at night, maybe when he hears a rooster just next to a room window singing for hours at night, he does something about it ? Unfortunately, my experience at this place, even if I was honest with the quality of facilities, was finally bad because the main purpose of the hotel, sleeping, was a failure.

Nice place to stay for exploring Munduk area, a bit overpriced

Nice villa with 2 bedrooms, very comfortable beds, private small infinity pool. Water is due to height not very warm (nice to cool down). Pool in common area is nicely warm. Fabulous view from villa and from Restaurant. Staff are very nice and friendly. Great massages.

Rooms are very small. Restaurant seems a bit overpriced for Bali, food was OK (breakfast great, other meals not spectacular). Pillows too big and stuffed. Even though it's a bit above Munduk, noisy motorbikes drive by occasionally - otherwise it is quiet.

The view from the balcony of the room, from the bedroom and from the shower. The rooms are really big.

The staff of the restaurant was terrible, the waitress was completely absent and we have to keep trying to catch their attention. They were distracted in washing some tools instead of taking care of us, and we were only two tables in the restaurant. The food is nothing special and the breakfast very very small. I definitely not recommend you to take breakfast here. About the room, the bathroom sanitizer could have been a better experience! The frigobar is almost inaccessible, they can relocate it in another position.

The views are stunning. The staff are really lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout my stay. Rooms are spacious. I arranged a driver / guide through reception for visiting some waterfalls in the area and it was a great trip.

Relaxing and charming place

The staff is exceptional! We had a problem with the villa we originally booked so we've been offered an upgrade to another room, plus the staff was so kind in making sure we had a great stay. Villas are beautiful and very comfortable. The place is quite and perfect for a relaxing holidays immerse in nature. Also very good restaurant with many choices, we tasted some of the best dishes we had in Bali

Nice Relaxing villa in the beautiful jungle area of Bali. Beautiful Grounds with a pool and somewhat hot pool. Really nice breakfast and food at the restaurant by the pool.. The villa is super clean and the bed is very comfortable , With lovely sunset view from the villas or the pool.
