Aronia Villa

The host was incredibly welcoming and hospitable and the villa is absolutely lovely. We experienced a three hour flight delay which meant we couldn't arrive at the agreed time and we also got lost trying to find the villa late at night. Ioachim very kindly drove out to meet us and guided us back to the property. He truly went above and beyond by having food prepared for us and stocking the fridge with essential items before we arrived. Throughout our stay, he was always available to answer any questions and was genuinely helpful. It was clear how much care Ioachim puts into maintaining the property. He would occasionally check in and tend to the plants, which reflected the attention and pride he takes in looking after the villa. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and the photos honestly do not do it justice. It's located right by the sea offering stunning views to enjoy in the evenings. The large garden provides plenty of space to dine outdoors, sunbathe and relax in the hot tub. There is also a pebble beach directly in front of the villa which is lovely for a quick swim, although it's worth noting that it's quite rocky so it may not be ideal for everyone. Everything in the island is a short drive away and was quite easy for us to drive around. The house itself is cosy and well-equipped. There were only four of us staying but it could certainly accommodate more people comfortably. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and couldn't recommend this property highly enough! Not necessarily a negative as we prefer being in a quieter location with a good view but this location is better suited to those with a car as the nearest town Fira is about an hour and half by walk but only 10 minutes by car. If you don't drive you'll likely need to rely on taxis to get around the island.

Really hospitable host, prepared lots of food and drinks for us and even a home-baked cake! Place was clean and comfortable, but just a little bit damp as it was raining heavily during our stay. Expect a few close interactions with the friendly grey cat from next door!

Nagyon kedves tulajdonos , teli hűtőszekrénnyel , friss házi sütivel várt minket . Csendes környék , de mindenképpen autóra , vagy motorra , quadra van szükség , hogy az ember mozogni tudjon a szigeten . A tengerben lehet szélcsendben fürdeni , de nagy kövek vannak , gumicipő ajánlott. Nagyon tiszta szállás , kényelmes kerttel , kiülőkkel , jól működő klímákkal .

The villa is a dream! The location right on the water is stunning. The villa itself is perfect for a large group or a family with plenty of space and a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub also. Joachim was so attentive to us—he stocked the fridge with produce and drinks and left us a homemade egg dish and cake as well as a bottle of wine. It was so thoughtful! He was quick to give restaurant recommendations also and helped us set up a rental car.

It is not walking distance to anything, so it wouldn’t work well for a group that was looking for that.
