Bakar is a very interesting little town with quite a few sights, but everything is near by car, our absolutely fav place was Kostrena beach and Krk.
The apartment was perfectly clean, had air conditioning and wifi (we could even watch netflix!), and everybody was perfectly nice. We got a bunch of tips about the best beaches, restaurants and sights in general, and a few slices of homemade cake too! :)
Plus, you can cook and wash your cloths if you want to.
The apartment is a bit small, but very cozy.
