Lovely stay, would come again (provided still affordable!)

The villa is lovely, well appointed and in a great location, moments from a great sandy beach - the 2 free sunbeds and umbrella are a great bonus. There are several good tavernas close by, we were recommended Yiannis, Vergina and Finikas tavernas by Giorgios and they were all very nice. Finikas you may need to book. Great supermarket very close but expect to pay more than at home for most items. Nice meat to take back for barbecue back at the villa. Shout out to Giorgios and Maria who were very helpful hosts, Oreo travel also very responsible to queries. There was are flag on the beach for about 6 days out of our fortnight. We took a trip to the south coast which is calmer and had a great boat charter with Plakias Boat Tours. We also had trips out to a winery, olive oil farm and Kournas Lake.

I agree with previous reviewers about the bathrooms needing a bit of a refresh. The drain smell is fairly common in Greece and it's not a big issue. The hand soap in the bathrooms is poor quality, although the olive oil shower gel is really nice. The access road is tight (even for the Ford Focus we hired), not their fault but tuck your wing mirrors in! Finally this property is borderline value for money and it looks like prices going up quite a bit next year on this site at least. This may price out families like us and tip the balance towards adult group bookings which could change the nice relaxed vibe.

The perfect holiday villa! The unit was completely functional for those on vacation. It's modern, spacious, lots of light and very clean. Just a lovely place to be in, to walk out from and come back to. It has a large upstairs terrace and a good sized pool. The surprise was the large and bright lower level with some proper exercise equipment and full size ping pong table. We used it a lot! Although all the units on the complex were occupied, it felt very private and peaceful. Elevated views of the mountains, sea and sunset from the terrace add to its charm. The villas are perfectly located. The beach feels attached to the complex - its literally a minute away. It is also just a very short walk to shops, tavernas, supermarkets and a bus stop servicing Rethymno Old Town. The onsite office was open every day for any of your needs. The staff were genuinely warm and accommodating people. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there.

A perfect place for a family holiday! The house is spacious, well-equipped, and the pool is very clean and well-maintained. The beach is just a few steps away, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Truly worth recommending – we’d love to come back!

Excellent Villas with amazing staff.

Everything, especially the excellent staff, Giorgos and Maria who welcomed us and made our stay fantastic. The facilities are fantastic and they couldn’t do enough to make our stay amazing. We were in Crete for a family wedding and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Giorgos (hope I spelled right) even jet washed our cars before we left for the wedding as there had been a rare dust cloud. Amazing

I loved almost everything about the property. Especially the location to the beach and the private pool.

The furnishings inside seemed cheap and there was almost no decor. The villa just didn’t feel very homey on the inside.

Immaculate modern villa in the perfect location for a relaxing family break

Immaculately clean, Georgio came daily to check the pool, he and the cleaning staff were excellent at pottering around making sure everything was perfect. Steps from the beach, and beach bar for lunch. Restaurants a couple of minutes walk away, I didn’t cook a single meal which was the deal I made with the kids who wanted a villa over a hotel! Absolutely ideal, the perfect place for a much needed family break. Location was safe for the young teenagers to go off wandering and enough going on to keep the littlest (6), entertained.

the one teeny tiny gripe, the sink tap in the top bathroom is round the wrong way, cold is hot/hot is cold so I scolded myself (not bad at all) a couple of times, more of a minor irritant but easily fixed by some who knows how

A villa with basement bedroom

The stuff was nice

One of the bedrooms are at the basement level, with no natural light and no outside space at all. This part is wrongly advertised on property description. Also there is absolutely zero privacy on the pool area, the balcony from another property are literally 3 meters above the area and people are simply staring at you when u try to "relax" at the pool. They are cleaning every day on request but is just something very light, overall the bathrooms do not look clean at all.

We liked it despite some drawbacks ...

Pictures outdated: Bungalow does not stand alone, detached anymore! There is a big Hotel RIGHT on the Eastern side. Information on booking.com in so far missleading. Plus: check in was scheduled for 1400 according to arrangement. Yet we were forced to kill time in the midday heat until 1600. This is a lot of time on holiday!

Exceptional

The villa is amazing with a good size swimming pool, 3 double bedrooms each with a bathroom, a comfortable kitchen and living room. There is a cleaning everyday and other services such as ironing could be arranged. There are plenty of excellent tavernas at a walking distance (2-3 minutes) from the villas. The beach is immediately next to the villas and umbrella and beach beds are included in the rental. The temperature of water was constantly around 26°. There are 2 terraces one next to the pool and another next to the room on floor 1. Both terraces are big. Before our arrival, we requested some groceries and home essentials to be bought and put in the house and this was done (we paid for the goods only the day after our arrival). We could check-in late and there was a waitor waiting for us in the propret. We also could check out late as the new guests were arriving late. This is an ideal solution if you are looking for a good hassle-free accommodation.

Taxi booked via reception did not arrive on departure date and nobody at the reception at that moment. We had to find another solution in a rush in order not to miss our flight.

Great, but NOT private villas at the beach

+Location +Beds are really comfortable. +Super nice housekeeper, he even speaks fluent German since he grew up in Germany +It’s 3 floors so if you’re 3 parties every party has their own floor. In the basement there is a ping pong table and a washing machine and a drier. +You get 2 free chairs and an umbrella at the beach. +It’s really quiet and right at the beach. You have a carport which is really useful in the summer. +It’s very very spacious.

Oyster 3: - the hotel restaurant from the hotel next door is above your pool and your balcony upstairs. So you hear their music every day and night and you hear people at supper. The music is quite loud in the evening so you can’t even play your own music. It doesn’t show the restaurant that overlooks the terrace on the pictures. I am not sure if we payed less than the other houses but it should be mentioned in the description. We didn’t mind so much but if your looking for privacy that house isn’t good for you since the people from the restaurant can look down at your pool and terrace. -The wifi doesn’t work very well, you have to keep logging in and we got kicked out at least every 10 minutes. And it’s super slow at times. -The staff in the little office didn’t understand a word of English and were even confused with the word “check in” and they were super confused that we were there. We didn’t even get keys in the beginning but the cleaning lady let us in the house so we could at least take the kids out of the car.

The entry to the property was incredibly tight, our vehicle got through the street and entrance with only a few centimeters on each side.

Comfortable & Private

We really like a lot of space for comfortable living like at home. Wery friendly staff. Excellent value for money and quality.

The Polish neighbours who took our keys from key locker, they did not want back to us the keys. We dont know why. They lies to us. Until manager scare them with the police, they give back to him. It was first experience, but it was not mistake by owner or manager.

Family holiday to celebrate special birthday

Good sized villa in excellent location with great facilities and close to the beach. Staff friendly.

The road leading to the villa is very narrow wirh residents parking cars and mopeds up and down it so it is difficult to get large cars up and down to villa. Smaller cars more manageable. We had to walk up it to the main road with our suitcases to get our transfers for airport. Due to a burst pipe and the bad weather we also had a slight flood in the basement rooms and a power cut although the staff saw to these issues immediately and had them rectified as quick as they could so all fine.

Heerlijk 💕

Een prachtige locatie, warme Griekse gastvrijheid en een comfortabele villa maakten ons verblijf tot een heerlijke ervaring. We voelden ons direct welkom dankzij de zorg en vriendelijkheid van Mr. Nikos en Maria. De villa was ruim en schoon, met fijne bedden en een heerlijk zwembad om tot rust te komen. Ook de ligging was perfect: rustig, maar toch goed bereikbaar. Alles bij elkaar een plek waar je graag naar terugkeert.

De badkamer is wat verouderd, maar dat wordt ruimschoots goedgemaakt door de rest van de villa: een prachtige ligging, een heerlijk zwembad en comfortabele bedden maken het verblijf meer dan aangenaam.
