Start your day with morning coffee as the dolphins swim by, enjoy a breezy afternoon lunch, or fire up the BBQ for a sunset dinner while the waves crash just steps away.
Ready to hit the water? We have plenty of surfboards ready for you to use! When you're done playing in the sand, rinse off the salt in our convenient outdoor shower.

We really enjoyed renting from Jay! It was at the end of the strand where it transitions in front of us as a stairway to the beach and another walkway. We liked that the bike and walking path were together as when you walk towards the North, it separates. Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate 8 of us nicely. The tenant above was very friendly. Parking behind the garage was sufficient and another parking pass for street parking was provided. We had no problems finding parking. We just had to be careful with signs for garbage collection or other city events. View from the porch was perfect and we loved being on the ground floor. We could go out the front door, to the deck, to the beach. The house used in the filming of Beverly Hills 90210 (the college years where Donna and Kelly stayed) was just to the left of this rental. I loved seeing this as I grew up watching it. Perfect location between the Hermosa Beach pier and the Manhattan Beach pier. A lifeguard station was in front so we didn't worry too much when the kids were near the ocean. I would definitely rent again.

Great place! Jay was great with meeting us and helping us with anything we needed! We had tons of space with the 5 bedrooms since we had 6 kids with us! We loved sitting on the front porch watching the waves and people and my kids loved being able to skateboard back and forth to each pier. Really close to all the cute shops and food in manhattan and hermosa! Don't know if it would bother some that it's a full time residence that they rent...Didn't bother us at all and they made plenty of room for us and all our junk! Would love to come back! Very sad to leave!

We had a mother/daughter weekend w 5 diff families and we had an absolutely amazing weekend. The sunset on our last night was amazing . We had dinner at Abigail's and any other restaurants/bars are only a $6.00 taxi ride which was a plus. Walking or biking on the Strand with the beach across the street made the days perfect.

The location of this house was perfect! It is located directly on the Strand mid-way between the Manhattan Beach pier and Hermosa Beach pier. The kids loved playing on the beach and not only could we see them from the deck of the house, there is also a lifeguard stand directly out from this location. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck right on the strand and people watching and well as walking and biking. It was only about a 1/2 mile (beautiful) walk to coffee each morning, restaurants and shopping! You can hear the ocean waves from the house in the evening - very nice! The house was great with 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed all meals except dinner at the house each day, and even took advantage of the gas grill on the deck one evening as well. We stayed during football season, so we really appreciated the Direct TV Sunday ticket. We had a great stay and we definitely plan to return.
