We had the best experience, the place is amazing, the room, bed and temperature were so confy, we felt very good the whole time and we definitively want to go back!!!

We loved sharing the site grown and made dinner with other guests and the interns. The hike to the cows was well worth the visit and both times we encountered a small family of Cinghiale hanging out at the stables. They quickly ran away both times when we arrived, but we got to see their cute Cinghialini babies!!

Loved our stay at Tenuta. The location was perfect, 1.5 hrs from Florence, 2hrs to Pisa, 1 hr to Siena. It was a great base. The reserve is I believe 1,000acres and a working farm. All food on the estate except cheese is grown/raised there. They have only opened up recently to tourists as an added revenue stream, previously all interns looking at learning organic farming/wine making, so felt they were not great at promoting/marketing themselves and their wonderful wine and food. The houses are rustic, when we stayed there was the crazy heat wave and fans were not sufficient to cool down. The estate is gorgeous and has so much history. We did the cooking class while there and would highly recommend it, it was so much fun. Started at 9am in the garden and finished eating at 2.30. Would highly recommend staying here as so unique and everyone so friendly.
We stayed in a house away from the main compound. This had not been conveyed and wish we knew prior as perhaps would have requested in the main compound. We were there during the crazy heat and there was no AC, fans where not sufficient at night. So would be mindful of this during the height of summer especially if have kids. But guess this applies to lots of places in Tuscany!
