Perfect half term get away

Great communication before arrival, Bev our host then met us on the day of arrival to ensure that we had everything and could ask questions. The house is furnished to a high standard with all you need incl coffee / tea, there was milk in the fridge, cookies and even some wine waiting for us. The games cupboard and dvd selection came in handy as the British weather did offer some very heavy rain and snow showers. All in all we had a lovely time at The Lookout! Thank you Bev

Practically Perfect in every way!!

The Lookout is one of the best places we have stayed in 👏 The hosts have thought of everything… Beautiful views and walks… great pubs and eateries close enough to walk too or a few minutes drive🙌 Well done Bev and team We have booked again for this Summer Can’t wait 😁👏👏😘

A wonderful place with beautiful views and every need met!!

What a gorgeous place. Beautiful views, really cool having the living space upstairs - like something from grand designs! The house is spotlessly clean and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ever need! Bev really has thought of every little detail that makes a difference to people who stay. Cupboard FULL of books and DVDs and a chest full of games for those more relaxed days and a shed full of buckets, spades and anything you need to go out for the day to the (dog friendly) beach which is a 10 min walk down some (quite steep but with handrails) steps. By far the best rental I have ever stayed in! It’s well situated for travelling around Norfolk, 20 mins drive to Cromer, 15 mins drive to North Walsham and 5 min walk from the Main Street with some shops and a pub.

Just the best few days away. We had a brilliant time at the Lookout.

The location of the Lookout is excellent with a footpath outside and beyond that a huge view of the sea. The property was spotless and had absolutely euphoric could possibly need. Bev was really helpful and communicated with us before we arrived and on arrival. It was a fabulous base to explore the area.

Lovely again!

Once again a great week at The Lookout. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, fantastic views, in a quiet location (you can hear the waves) yet convenient for a wide range of things to do, it really is a lovely place to stay. The beach is just a short walk or if you have more to carry there is plenty of parking on the field to the rear of the car park near the beach. This time we tried The Catch for fish and chips, excellent but v busy so be prepared for a wait, plus the Vernon Arms (pub food) and Suffield Arms (tapas) just a few minutes drive away, both great. The butcher and bakers in the village are also very good. Thanks to Bev for another great week.

Good comms with host. Property as described and better, and as previous reviewers. Also recommend nearby New Sage Chinese takeaway, Haig Club for a beer (next to takeaway), and the Craft Bakery for early morning breakfast pastries. All within easy walking distance.

We were very happy with our stay here

The location was excellent, overlooking the sea and cliffs. The quality and layout of the accommodation was really good. The kitchen had everything you could need and was very spacious. The lounge/dining area, also was spacious and comfortable. We had excellent nights sleep on probably the most comfortable bed away from our own. Bev, the owner was very welcoming and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at The Lookout. Bev was a great host, very helpful and welcoming. The Lookout is exceptionally comfortable and Bev has thought of everything you might need and more. The location can't be faulted, wonderful views of the sea, only a short walk to the beach and village, everything was in easy reach. I'm already planning my return!

You cannot beat the location. The stunning view from the lounge is breathtaking. Bev the owner was fantastic, her attention to detail is second to none and she is very helpful and only a text away should you need her.

Absolutely everything. Bev is by far the best host we have ever stayed with. The warmest welcome and little extra touches mean so much, and the view is out of this world! The dogs were made as welcome as we were and cannot recommend this little gem enough. We have already booked our 2nd stay!!

The Lookout was the perfect base to explore the Norfolk coast. It was extremely well equipped and we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We were able to relax in comfort and enjoy the view of the sea from the balcony.

We had an amazing stay at The Lookout. It is an immaculate home that is equipped with everything you could ever need. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the location is spectacular, with the beach, restaurants, pub, crazy golf and ice cream shop only a few minutes walk away. Bev was a fabulous host and made us feel completely welcome.

Relaxing coastal stay.

The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen in particular is very well equipped. It is a short walk down steps to a dog friendly beach. The beach is sandy and beautiful. Mundesley is a short walk with a good pub and a few cafes and shops. We will return.
