Casa Flavia is a great choice: it's very conveniently located, close to both the center of Nebida and to the wonderful circular walking trail (Passeggiata del Belvedere) that has stunning sea views. There's also a supermarket literally steps away. It's very close to the main road, yet still far enough so that traffic noise is not an issue at all. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the outdoor terrace is really spacious and we got a very friendly welcome.
The garbage collection could be made a bit less stressful: you're given a multi-page instruction manual on how to collect garbage into the 5 or so differently colored bags and containers, then you also need to watch the days of the week, so you know when to leave the right bag outside in the evening for collection the next day. It all comes with the threat of a 50€ fine if you mess up: don't get me wrong, it's important to protect the environment and we do selective collection at home too, but I felt we had to spend a bit too much energy worrying about whether we put everything in the right place at the right time.

Casa Flavia has been a really great place for us, a couple with two children (one and four years old). We had everything we needed (washing machine, air conditioning, barbecue, etc. etc) for our two-weeks-stay, but to us, the outer balcony with the curtained gazebo, the dining table, the barbecue, the garden swing and the refreshing evening wind was the real added value.
The location is very convenient. Nebida is a quiet village with small markets and a few restaurants and bars and, at the same time, is very close to wonderful beaches, such as Masua, Cala Domestica, Funtanamare, Plage Mesu, Sa Punta 'e S'Arena. Other amazing beaches like Scivu and Piscinas are a bit farther away but they deserve a visit. The town of Iglesias is the closest large town with several supermarkets and services. The village of Buggerru is also not far (25-30 mins drive).
Francesco and his family have been great hosts, always available, kind and ready to make our holidays at Casa Flavia just perfect. We will surely be back!
