A fabulous oasis, peaceful, clean, comfortable and excellent value for money
Just to be aware that this villa is 500m down a laneway that cars can not access. Wayan will organise (via whatsapp) to meet you at the parking area and transport you and your luggage to the villa by scooter shuttles so it is not a problem, just something to be aware of.

All. Easy to move, just rent a scooter. Restaurants at 3 minutes by walk. Calm and not far from the center of Ubud

The property was an enclosed walled small house with an outdoor kitchen dining area, open air bathroom, and good-sized enclosed bedroom. There was a cold but swimmable private pool. Bed was comfortable. The staff guy drove us from the main road down these windy narrow paved paths about a mile to get to the room, a 12 min walk. Nicely landscaped. More of a neighborhood instead of city which we liked.
The constant banging and construction across the narrow street. They kept at it all day so hard to enjoy the pool or even hear yourself think. Bali in general around Ubud is very jungly and has a lot of ants and bugs, which crawl all over the lounge chairs. Annoying loud confrontational but small dog at the end of the block. Having to have someone drive you means a lot of coordinating to get a taxi back on the main road so not convenient.
