De kelder die geen airco had en daardoor enorm warm en muf was. En de jacuzzi die de hele vakantie het niet deed

Really spacious, great facilities Like the sauna & steam room which we didn’t expect to have. We would go back for sure.

Location - it’s difficult to get around without a car

Close to the beach, extremely private and on a quiet street

The house is advertised as being able to sleep 13 people but there are only 3 proper bedrooms. On the main floor there is a double bed in the living room as you walk in the front door, and in the basement (which is only be accessible from a separate outside staircase) there were 2 double sofa beds and 1 normal double bed in a large open area, however, it was extremely stuffy and musty smelling (no air conditioning) and there was black mould on the ceiling. We ended up moving a mattress upstairs and did not use the basement. At best, 8 people could sleep in the main house area. There was also a cockroach in the basement bathroom and the fridge/kitchen area down there smelt. Check in time was 2pm but when we arrived they were still cleaning and asked us to return at 3pm. We were told the previous occupants had broken glass and thrown parties so they needed extra time. We completely understood this, and appreciated being able to leave our suitcases behind, but wet towels/bed sheets were left hanging on the washing line and in the washing machine which we had to put away to be able to use ourselves. The broken glass was also not cleaned up properly. We were finding pieces around the outdoor dining area over the duration of our stay and also in the pool. Speaking of the pool, something to consider is it’s extremely deep and not really suitable for young kids. My 1 year old could only sit on the first or second step and the 7 and 8 year olds couldn’t even touch the bottom in the shallow end. The night lights in the pool also kept detaching from the walls and floating on the surface with the power cords hanging out. The general cleanliness and condition of the house was also quite poor. From day 1 there were ants all over the kitchen, even after wiping down the benches they kept coming back.
