Spacious, Well-Equipped Apartment in a Great Location

I had a great stay at this apartment. It was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped — everything was provided, including dish soap, cleaning supplies, shower gels, detergent, an iron, a washing machine, and more. The refrigerator and the mixed gas/electric stove both worked perfectly, which made cooking easy and convenient. The location is excellent — just five minutes’ walk from Rethymno Old Town, and right across the street from a cafe, supermarket, electronics shop, and not far from a pharmacy. The balcony offered a lovely view overlooking a lively street with cafes and shops, which I really enjoyed. The bathroom was large and comfortable, the WiFi was reliable, and while the air conditioning was a bit weak, it still did the job. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to others visiting Rethymno.

A comfortable stay in a very nicely located apartment

Very nicely located, just on the edge of the Old Town. Nice, spacious apartment. Washing machine a real bonus as I was staying for two weeks.

Traffic noise was noticeable, but if you take care to read the reviews beforehand, as I did, it shouldn’t come as surprise. I learned quickly to block it out.

Great location, few minutes to the beach or to the old town of Rethymno. Big supermarket and good coffee place just otherside of the road. No problems with the AC. Really friendly host as well.

Soundproof on the bedroom was poor, it took few nights to get used to the car noises from the busy road. Pressure on the shower was low.

Superb

The apartment is really big and comfortable, A/C is working great (just note that it is in living room area, not in the bedroom, there is ceiling fan above bed and in the night there was no problem at all), wi-fi is also working fine. Bathroom is very nice and big (actually for greek standard it's exceptional). The apartment is next to the main road but if you are not very sensitive it's not a problem.

Unfortunatelly, the bed mattress was too soft for us and for longer stay it would be uncomfortable, however, it's subjective matter. Also, it's fine for couples but for two friends the bed is little bit small, which is a shame for that big apartment.

Smart choice of apartment

Very well equipped apartment, plenty TV channels to watch on the evenings after a hard day exploring the town and my husband enjoyed revisiting Call of Duty on the X Box. The supermarket across the road was pretty good for anything we needed and there were some good places for take aways and to eat out near by. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the into the old town and a 15min walk to the bus station, the bus for Heraklion does stop not far from the apartment, just across from the Liberty Hotel. The shower was great and the washing machine was a great bonus. We would happily book here again.

The apartment was on a main road so there was some traffic noise during the night but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a central location. We often stay in centrally so always have ear plugs with us and we slept fine.
