Location was good.... 15 minute walk to the centre, where all the attraction are.... all close together.
Lidl was 5 minutes away and plenty of gimmick shops on the way to the centre, even a KFC.
If it had more ventilation in the bathroom, the apartment would have been perfect.... maybe a sky light there too.
Otherwise no complaints.

The apartment was well laid out and fairly spacious - however it had NO windows and as such there was NO view of anything. There was one velux type window in the bedroom but it was at a height where you had to stand on something to look out. Location was near the top of a very steep hill in the middle of Porto - the area was rather run-down (eg derelict buildings, building plots, stray cats etc)/ There were 31 steps up to the apartment - if you have health or mobility issues then this would be an issue - luckily I am fairly fit. There was a very interesting Mozambique restaurant just down the road - they were very welcoming. The apartment was a good base for Looking around the historic area of Porto (riverside) and making day trips further afield. It was well equipped and we had the impression that the building had recently been renovated - it is good to see older buildings being brought back into use.
There appeared to be NO fire alarm or smoke detector in the apartment. More worryingly the apartment was at the top of a three story building and there was NO fire escape the only means of exit was the staircase. I am 100% convinced that is this let was in the UK it would not pass safety regulations.

The location is quite handy, close to the high way, the city and Campanha central station. The check-in was super easy. The managing company is quite professional. The apartment was clean and is nice for a short stay, I would say. The sofa bed was comfortable.
It smelled a bit from the bathroom and the sliding door could not be closed from the inside. I would prefer to have some oil, salt and pepper for cooking.

Close to city centre, quite area, nice and tidy.
There was a lot of mould in the the whole house. The humidity in the house was so high that the towels were already moist even before we used them. The gloves inside the first aid kit were also mouldy.
While we did visit during a rainy period, the mold was not new.
If it wasn't for the mould, it would have been an amazing place!
