After several days in the chaos of the city, it was amazing to be way out in the country where you can actually hear the birds. The peace and quiet and stunning views must be seen to be appreciated, a photo just isnt the same. Warm hospitality, delicious food, AMAZING DREAM COME TRUE COOKING EXPERIENCE and the depth of history that compares with museums we visiited.

Casa Vallona is located in a lovely setting with sweeping views of the surrounding hillsides. Our host, Chiara, was wonderful and we arranged for a tour of the property along with wine tasting and a home cooked dinner in the main house - an amazing experience. We took some walks from the property but a car is a must as we were doing day trips into Modena and Bologna. We stayed in the studio which was very well appointed, quiet, and clean. Our traveling companions stayed in the main house and had a smaller but comfortable room.

It was such a nice retreat from the city. Time to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and delicious food! Host was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made it easy for us to relax and also was so helpful around accommodating food allergies!♥️

This is such a lovely place! The beautiful surroundings, comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms and gardens, and wonderful host made our stay truly special. We enjoyed both a delicious dinner and breakfast. We also took a cooking class, which was a blast! We would love to come back again soon.
