This was the final stop on our Sardinian holiday. The grounds are well maintained in a lovely part of the island. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It is a vineyard and the wine on offer is very good.
I marked it lower than other places we stayed as we travelled Sardinia for two weeks and found better value for money elsewhere. The room was clean but lacked attention to detail in key areas. The mosquito net had holes for example. The outdoor private pool area was disappointing. There was no shade, and the steps needed to gain access to the pool were steep and flimsy. The outdoor furniture was not comfortable and a bit outdated.
It is family friendly, but we travelled just as a couple. The pool area was taken over by kids of course which is to be expected.
The hotel came half board, so breakfast and dinner was included. This was another thing that we were enthusiastic about when booking as the reviews and pictures looked amazing. They also changed the menu daily. Sadly, I’d love to say we really enjoyed it, but we didn’t. The first night was unacceptable given the price and the second night was better but not great. Due to all the kids, the restaurant was noisy and not quite the fine dining experience the pictures had us believe it would be. It was all style over substance with the food overly salty. It is not worth the money and we had much nicer fine dining experiences elsewhere. The breakfast however was nice and the staff were very friendly.
Overall, I’m afraid we were not overly pleased.
