Brilliant location overlooking Loch Broom. The cabin was warm and inviting with everything you need for a relaxing stay after a few hours on the NC500 route. Amazingly we were joined by Red Squirrels and a selection of birds for breakfast who were feeding on the provided bird feeders. Stunning 🤩

Red squirrels right next to you while you're eating breakfast has to be a great thing and all the birds coming to the bedroom. The big bedroom with good bedding and mattress were great and the oven and kitchen facilities were fabulous for us - we didn't want to spend too much money eating out and the views were good. Liked the self contained factor for a New Year getaway
The single glazing, the temperature difference between the hall and bathroom which were very cold compared to the living room/kitchen and the bedroom but it was manageable. Also the reclining chairs were broken and not my favourite type of chair but that might be personal taste

It was in a great location and the addition of having a balcony was great. We greeted by the host who was super friendly and took us to lodge.
Unfortunately upon arrival there had been no heating on in the lodge meaning it was very cold inside due to the freezing weather outside. The bedroom had an effective heater once it was turned on but the living room lacked this and the small heater in there took hours to make the room a comfortable temperature. Further, due to the lack of prior heating, the non carpeted flooring throughout was stone cold which made it hard to stand on comfortably. Overall this heating issue made the stay less enjoyable as we payed for the cabin to get out of the cold after camping the previous night.

Dog-friendly. Owners very helpful as I had to push the stay back a day due to broken down car on the way up - super helpful, no problems. Ideal location for exploring up into Assynt.
Access paved path narrow and dicey esp carrying large dog crate in cold weather. Bedroom could use a lick of paint. No one central door lock.

Location, walk up to the cabin felt nice! Cabins were also nice and cosy with heaters. Bed comfy. Bathroom really modern. Nice homely furnishings. Views fantastic! Bird feeder also a nice touch- the dog LOVED watching the birds and resident red squirrel every morning.
Kitchen was dated but still, fit for purpose. Air fryer was a nice modern touch.
Fire alarm was fairly sensitive.

The kitchen and bathroom look newly renovated. Kitchen comes with microwave, oven, four induction cooker, hood, electric kettle and fridge. Good shower pressure. There were seeds provided to have fun with the birds snd red squirrels. The leather recliner sofa in the living room was comfy.
There were substantial steps to climbs and it can be dangerous with heavy luggage bags. The kitchen isn’t well ventilated and there was lingering smell from the previous stays. The knives and kitchen shears were not well cleaned by previous guests / host. The knives and peeler were so blunt that they wouldn’t work properly. The bathroom sink doesn’t flow well. Heating can be inadequate for some who fear chills. Insects are etching on to some walls. Guests must strip off the bedding at check-out.

The cabin was compact but very tidy.
The fact that it was a cold week, not enough heating, just a small heater in the living room, which was not switched on when we arrived so the place was freezing

Weile that we were very close to the centre of Ullapool, with loads of amenities. View was great, close by to parks and trails. Loads of things to see.
- close to the road, so you hear cars passing by even during the night in luring industrial trucks
- place generally was not as clean as one would hope. Cutlery, pots and pans were dirty from previous meals.
- sink in the ensure was blocked up
- cobwebs on the lamp shade and front sliding door kept sticking
Generally it feels like the place was quickly made ready without proper cleaning.

Self catering lodge.Location was stunning. Views over the loch. Comfortable bed & bird food provided so it was lovely to have lots of birds & red squirrels visit our balcony. A few miles to get to Ullapool which had shops & places to eat. Would stay again.
The lodges are up in the trees, slope & steps to get up to them, not ideal as I have arthritis in both knees. Tv signal dreadful but that’s probably the location.

Location was perfect and easy to find as right on the main road, was a perfect base camp for exploring Ullapool and surrounding areas. Could hear the stags roaring. Birds and red squirrels right at the window. View of the Milky Way and Aurora right from the veranda. Beautiful surroundings, amazing views from the windows. Very peaceful, will definitely be back!
Not much to dislike, although accommodation was beside the main road, passing traffic wasn’t an issue and did not disturb us throughout our stay.

The bird seed provided was a really nice touch for us to use. We saw beautiful birds and even a red squirrel.
The step covered in wet slippery leaves these could have been cleared daily. Also requests to open windows, strip bless etc was a little unfair as we paid for a service. Also loud banging in the morning from work being carried out in building next to us.

Location excellent.
Red squirrels !
Access to cabin would be tricky for anyone not very mobile - didn’t see any mention of that in advertisement.

I liked we were met and shown everything, and that they phoned when we had a power cut to make sure we knew where battery lamps were :-)

These chalets are in a beautiful location, and is well placed for those wishing to explore this stunning part of Scotland. Our chalet was very private, quiet and comfortable. We got a friendly welcome from the owner who showed us to our chalet, and explained the facilities. Even the roaring stags on the hillside behind us added to the atmosphere.
There was nothing we didn't like. The chalet had everything we needed.

Great location, incredible view (the back ground picture really is the view you get from both your living and bend room. The host provided some bird seed for the feeder that is viewable from the living room in the balcony. Big reclinable sofa, big comfortable bed with a real duvet. Kitchen is fine. Fridge no freezer.
Just note the smoke alarm is right above the hob, making it very easy to set off even in normal cooking.
Got a bit hot in the summer.

Nice area, separate kitchen and living room with balcony , ensuite bedroom. Spacious parking and great views. Nice host. It's quiet and nice for a family. Good for a long stay. Kitchen is nice. Lots of space everywhere.
My chalet was on the top of the hill and has steps to climb , tiring especially if you have lots of luggage

The rooms were spacious, private and comfortable. We especially loved the recliner to relax after a long day exploring. The large windows and views of the lake and greenery are very nice. Comfortable bed. Friendly host.
There is a very limited checkin window of 4-6 pm. We made it work, but you have to plan your day around it.

Suprised how busy the road was but it was high season and obviously very popular place to be in mid summer 😊

Beautiful area, very close to Ullapool with views of Loch Broom. Lovely comfy bed and nice shower.
Red squirrels and birds frequent visitors to the patio decking every day. Free wifi and USB sockets on the bedside cabinets.
Accommodation is quite dated. The windows are not double glazed, so lots of noise during the day.
Our chalet was set up a ramp and then a set of stairs, so no good for anyone with mobility issues. There is no oven in the kitchen, so we had to eat out or get take aways.

À couple more players and glasses

Plenty of space, excellent kitchen facilities – everything worked!. Spacious bathroom and bedroom – plenty of room for suitcases. The smart TV had streaming channels. Wonderful to see birds, feeding from the seed feeders on the balcony, and there was even a red squirrel.
Rhododendrons around the windows needed cutting back, to gain full advantage of the lovely view of the lawn.
The climb up to the chalet was slightly arduous, but well worth it.

Everything except bed.
The bed is “double” mention in description.
It is small double bed (according to english)
120 cm by 180 cm.
My husband is 190 cm tall.
We are of 60 plus age and slept top and tale for ridiculous price per night.

Brilliant location for amenities just up the road in Ullswater a few miles, stunning scenery looking out over the loch, on the edge of a forest so wild life abound including a pine Martin.
The kitchen fully equipped, lovely big walk in shower.
The property unfortunately has seen better-days and made of wood is beginning to require major maintenance overhaul to keep it functioning.

The location was lovely, the view was fantastic and the little bird house on the window was fab ! We even had a pine Martin come to it ! The bed was outstanding x
It needed a new kitchen and windows. When we got there it smelt of dog but I’m guessing that was the people before us because after leaving the windows open a day, it was gone x

Lovely place.
I really enjoyed staying in the cabins. And also watched a beautiful sunset

Cosy and warm. Recently refurbished kitchen area & bathroom . Big TV. Nuts and fat ball provided for the bird/squirrel feeder. Very comfortable bed. Good for 2 people
Needed a small table for drinks and nibbles. ( Host did supply one when we complained).Only 2 chairs & both had broken seat bases. needs a bit more crockery ( there were only 2 mugs, 2 wine glasses and 2 tumblers) Warning that the heat alarm could easily be triggered when cooking. Lights along path not working - main floodlight goes of at about 11.15 and then it is very dark. Entrance door was a patio door which was very stiff to open/close requires attention. Unusual to be asked to empty all waste bins, strip the bed and put used bedding/towels in a bag.

Lovely location easy to reach .Nice cabin well equipped. View was stunning
The road was a lot busier than we thought

Nice area, the cabin itself was fine, had everything you need.
Secluded and quiet.
Our bed was broken, which made for a bad nights sleep as well didn't realise until getting into bed. We did get a partial refund for this but was still disappointing.
Another place that expects you to strip the bedding and take out the recycling or there is a threat of being charged a cleaning fee. I wouldn't expect guests at my house to do this, let alone paying customers.

Excellent location for view over a busy road into high trees blocking a fine view of the loch.
The roads went quiet during the night so no issues.
The building was getting a bit shabby and will need attention in the near future.
Large areas, clean, warm with plenty of heating available. Well supplied with equipment for daily use.
Close to Oban and bars and restaurants.
Would we use this location again? - absolutely we would.
The view of the loch blocked by trees, but this issue is not controlled by this venue.
