Welcome to Casa Catalina. Our relaxing mountain retreat offers the perfect space packed with essentials to enjoy a great weekend in the mountains any time of the year. Located within walking distance to local dining and activities this central single-level cottage offers a great year-round base camp no matter the season you choose to visit Big Bear.

Boasting a cozy open floor plan, toasty faux log fireplace, and big open windows to watch the snow falling outside, this adorable cabin is the perfect space to unwind together under the pines. An equipped kitchen and dining area provides all that you need to prepare home cooked meals and snacks for the mountain while the convenient hallway bathroom sits off to the side. Two spacious sleeping quarters offer exactly what you need for a great night of rest including mounted flat screen TVs, comfortable furnishings, and forested views.

Venture outside to enjoy the spacious sun deck and open forested yard, you will love relaxing under the pines here after a great day out on the lake. Very nice property very clean and well kept everything you need is here but the beds are terrible and if you don’t get a good nights sleep it’s just not worth staying there that’s just my opinion will not stay at the same cabin again!

This was a very cute property, sadly though, owners should either run rental themselves or find another company to run it. In the past I have booked rentals for Big Bear on VBRO through owners of properties. We have always had a very pleasant experience and it has been super simple to check in and check out with the lockbox outside of property, let alone usually check in is at 2pm and out by 11am. Big Bear vacations was super inconvenient. Checking in at 4pm is already late, let alone having to go to their location to wait in line and check in, so we didnt get to property till about 5pm because you had to also wait in a line. Multiple people in front of me were complaining about dirty properties and their properties not being available till after 6pm. Thankfully our property was ready on time at 4pm, however when we got to property, it was super dirty. Bathroom toilet wasnt even clean. Toilet had pee on seat and feces still in toilet from whoever stayed there before, we ended up cleaning it ourselves. Bedding looked as though only sheets were clean and not quilts , shams or blankets. You could see old webs in house. Felt super yucky to stay there. Thankfully Big Bear Vacations refunded me partial payment for cleaning, however I really should have gotten full considering how tacky they left it. I will be sure to only book owner ran properties in future. Big Bear Vacations seems to be super unorganized and inconvenient.

This was a very cute property, sadly though, owners should either run rental themselves or find another company to run it. In the past I have booked rentals for Big Bear on VBRO through owners of properties. Beautiful and COZY Cabin - close to everything!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Casa Catalina. It is a beautiful and cozy cabin with central heat to keep every room warm and toasty! It has a very nice gas fireplace and is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. It's close to Magic Mountain and the Village shops (both of which were enjoyed by us!). My two boys, husband, and I all had a fun and relaxing experience! I highly recommend this property!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Casa Catalina. It is a beautiful and cozy cabin with central heat to keep every room warm and toasty! It has a very nice gas fireplace and is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. Its close to Magic Mountain and the Village shops (both of which were enjoyed by us!). My two boys, husband, and I all had a fun and relaxing experience! I highly recommend this property!
