Great location to visit Arouca 516. Very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was great. Superb service. One of us left an item in the room and the staff messaged us after we left to check it was ours and they then shipped it to our next location and we got it back!! This was over and above expectations. Awesome!

Beautiful location and within walking distance to the Suspension Bridge. Breakfast setting was shared table so we had fun talking (or trying to converse as we were the only English speaking ones present) with the other guests. Appreciated being able to leave our car on the premise after check-out time.
Balcony door did not close and we had to switch rooms - a minor inconvenience at the time. Never met the host but was given instructions over the phone.

Conveniently located country house for the Arouca bridge and the Paiva walkways. We stayed just one night, so did not use the facilities much. There was decent pool, parking right at the house, staff was very friendly and welcoming. What I liked that you can actually walk to the Arouca bridge and you do not have to move the car. Breakfast was served in a kind of common kitchen / living room, it was basic but sufficient.
We had only limited view from our room, into the backyard. But as we stayed just over night it did not really bother us.

The location was super and the weather was at our hand. Location is perfect (20 minute walk) for crossing the paiva gorge with the famous suspension bridge (570 m lang and 175 m in the sky).
The staff only speaks portugese and we were there just off-season, hence nearly all restaurants are closed.
Off site suggestiond of owner also pointed towards closed restaursnts. Due to steep entrance road, not advisable to go by car for evening dinner (at least we did not)
Breakfast was moderate, coffee was on the second day 'warmed up' from previous day.
Shower was flooding after three minutes, but being alone in the house resulted in having an endless supply of towels
