Apartments by the sea Zaglav, Dugi otok - 12424

The owners are very sweet. We communicated with a mix of English and Italian, and everything went very smoothly. The apartment is well equipped, kitchen utensils are plenty, we were given nice clean sheets and towels. What to say about the location? It's so amazing that you won't want to leave the apartment :) Except you should of course because there are so many beautiful things to see on the island. I only wish we could have stayed here longer.

These apartments are something we have dreamed of - located directly by the sea, so the view from the balcony and rooms is astonishing and gives unique experience. Virtually, you can go on fishing from your dining table. The apartments have a lot of space, are EXEPTIONALLY tidy and clean, renovated or kept very well, have really good equipped kitchen (variety of frying pans and cooking pots, enough dishes for larger families). Warmhearted greetings from host made it feel like we came home.

There was absolutely no inconvenience regarding the apartments. The place has absolutely exceeded our expectations. May be a washing machine would be a good option for longer stays, but that's never obligatory in general. What you should mind is that you are on an island, so shopping will be a challenge (what would you eat for dinner?) and prices are really high (either grocery, restaurants or gas). There is single small grocery in Zaglav and 2 more in Sali (about the same size). And a gas station shop. I would not say, that there is sufficient choice in any of them. So, if you are planning to cook, make sure to bring your stuff with you (Zadar gives great possibilities to get all the things you might need, including oil, fresh fish and seafood). Using OpenStreetMap is better than inaccurate and outdated GoogleMaps for getting around. Getting into water might be challenge, as the coast line is rocky, I mean ROCKY, so don't forget your beach shoes. And mind that the whole area is not about party-time.
