ATH Airport Suites Free Shuttle From And To Athens Airport

Location to the airport was excellent- about a 10 min drive. The rooms were simple, very clean, very comfortable. We were able to get a room for all 3 of our kids in one room and my husband and I in the room next door. Free food delivery from local restaurants or free shuttle to and from town to go eat. The free shuttle was amazing. Was at the airport waiting for us and drove us back at 4:30am for an early flight out of Athens. The shuttle was always available 24hrs a day. Overall great stay! Perfect spot for a quick sleep before heading to the airport.

I was very happy with how close the hotel was from the airport. Since we had a flight out early the following morning, the proximity was ideal. The room and the hotel were spotlessly clean, and the pictures posted online were quite accurate about the hotel and accomodations. We were quite surprised, however to find that this hotel was located deep in the midst of a residential area. When following google maps, we had the feeling that somehing must be wrong with the directions, because the hotel is off-track, not near any main street with any restaurants, stores or anything. Not we expected at all. We had anticipated that it would at least be in access to a main road, but we felt like we were driving through alleyways. The proprietors, however, were quick to respond when I called them upon arrival when I needed to get into the hotel. They dispatched someone right away to meet me at the hotel to check us in. There really wasn't much in the way of parking - just some dirt patches. But since we seemed to be the only residents with a car, this was sufficient. It would seem that most people just get dropped off/picked up here by taxi. To their credit, the staff has done the work to partner with local restaurants who will either deliver food to the hotel or send a shuttle to pick you up and take you to their restaurant, because without a car of your own, there is nothing around. The room itself was simple, but quite comfortable and nice. No complaints about the room or staff at all. This hotel completely met our needs to easily refuel, drop off our rental car at Athens Airport in the morning, and easily make our flight. For this purpose, the location could not be better. The photos you see online are 100% accurate, but they just don't show you the surrounding area. The area definitely felt safe, but was quite unexpected. I would actually book this hotel again for my needs.

While I was overall happy with this hotel, and I would book it again, I felt that I was a little catfished because there wasn't really any indication that the hotel was lost deep within a residential area without direct access to a main street with restaurants or stores. The photos online are true and accurate, but give you no indication of the surroundings. You will be surprised when you arrive, but don't worry - it's a safe area.

You could hear planes flying overhead which woke me up There was no soundproofing between our room and neighbour’s toilet. We could hear them using the bathroom and talking. Some of the shower features were broken The free shuttle to the airport was full at the time we wanted even though we share the flight info in advance so this meant we had to go at 5:30am instead of 6:30am
