Good stay for the value, nice Sunday market!

Close to the water but you can’t swim cause it’s all giant rock mounds, pool was good but small, close to some nice bars and shops but beware EVERYONE haggles you BAD! Noticed this in all of Bali, big turnoff to shoppers and any passerby’s! Sunday market was nice at la Brisa tho!

Nothing really bad to say except the “queen bed” was just a twin and a double put together so we really weren’t able to use the whole bed together we basically just slept on the bigger half. Big traffic all around the area!

Beach view was to much excited. I just love this point, i loved morning view form the hostel front. I used hostel swimming pool. That was so cleaned.

Though location was so far from Bali airport, but it was so excited place for me.so calm & quite .i enjoyed my vacation which i wanted exactly.

Be careful with drinking their water!

Location was great, next to the beach.

The rooms don't match with the pictures. But the worse was that I've got a sick stomach from the water of their refill stations. Kitchen was also super dirty. Bed was uncomfortable.

EXCELLENT LOCATION! right on the beach and right next to lots of beach bars including la bridal sunday market ! Also walk up the road straight into the centre. Lovely pool and rooms and excellent laundry service available too!

Ok for the price

Good location at the doorstep of the beach. But it is also right next to a car/motorbike park, so there is limited beach view. Can get loud on weekends if there is a party at La Brisa. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms at the pool are nicer than the ones at the entrance.

The beds were not too comfy (two single beda put together as double). The room is very small and has a moldy smell. Needs a renovation. You cannot order taxis to the property. But you can order a car directly from the hostel reception.

Great place, would come again

The location is amazing. Eventhough it's at the beach with bars around its very quiet in the night. Nice pool with great view on the ocean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room is sometimes a bit smelly. The AC doesn't make it very cold. Water sometimes turns off and takes a whole to get warm. Generally no issues as this is all normal where ever you travel.

Very basic really nice staff the location is super close to the beach but the rooms were very old. Like a hostel. They were very nice and let me check out early and refunded my money.

Smell in the bathroom, and if you go to the reception (e.g. check in, for more toilet paper) they act like you are bothering them without even saying hi. We also got charged more for the taxi at the reception than what it says on the board, and the staff is just rude.

Location and the cold clean pool was great.

Unfortunately our sliding door was jammed and we struggled to open and close it each time we entered/left the room. Upon the first day we asked a staff member to help open the door and even he took five minutes to open it. Was told it would be fixed the next day but never was. - My boyfriend ended up cutting his fingers on the door handle from trying to open it. Our room (the larger enclosed balcony next to pool) was right infront of the staff hangout area and bins. It was very noises and an unpleasant sight to have a view of bins from the bed. The mattress on our bed was incredibly bad. Springs non existent and it dipped so much it was a terrible 2 nights sleep. The curtains to the room were missing most of the hoops so did not close properly. It is unfortunate as we stayed here in the past and loved our time but this stay we couldn’t wait to leave.

Dirty, moldy room, unhelpful staff

The only thing I liked was the location.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid a stay like mine. Unfortunately, my time at this guest house was extremely disappointing. The room I was given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, and the walls were covered in mold. The smell of dampness and mildew was overwhelming and I am allergic to mold! When I raised the issue with the staff, they acknowledged the mold but told me there were no other rooms available. Instead of offering any real solution, they simply handed me an air freshener—as if that could fix a health hazard. The staff were unhelpful and showed no real concern for my comfort or well-being. There was no offer of a partial refund, relocation assistance, or even a proper apology. It felt like they were used to complaints like mine and just didn't care. Staying in a mold-infested room is not only unpleasant but also a health risk, especially for anyone with allergies or respiratory issues. I expected at least basic cleanliness and a safe environment, which this place completely failed to provide. I had to change my flight ticket and leave early as tbe conditions were unacceptable and I was coughing the whole time. I would strongly advise future travelers to look elsewhere. There are many guest houses that offer better standards, cleaner rooms, and more professional service.

Perfect location for beach and town, basic rooms, great pool

Location couldn’t be better, right by the beach and very easy to walk into town. Staff were very accommodating, even waiting up until 2am to check us in.

Location was awesome. Mini outdoor shared kitchen space. Pool area was very nice and right out our entry door.

We did not like the bed. Two twins shoved together that were poor quality mattresses and very uncomfortable. Likewise for the pillows.

Quiet and clean

We liked that is bad the basics you would need. Very accessible and close to the beach. The room was very nice. Responded well to questions about the hostel and the area.

The tap was leaking which they held together with a rubber band. They also forgot to give us towels which they later corrected.

amazing value for money

amazing value for money. The A/C is great, shower is decent (although water pressure is a bit hit and miss). our toilet was leaking on the first day but once we reported it they got an plumber in straight away to fix it and we had no problems after that. the pool area is also very nice and clean. location is 10/10 - close to lots of restaurants and can walk along the beach to lots more + bars/clubs.

the bed is pretty uncomfy and quite loud, any movement seemed to wake the other person up. because of the good location it can be a bit noisy at times as the rooms aren’t very soundproof

pleasant staff but not pleasant room

great location in front of the beach and very nice staff

Small room with no window. Bathroom was smelling mold (as most places we have stayed in Bali) and the roof of it was leaking. the fact that the room was small without ventilation, made the smell of mold heavenly noticed in all the room and made sleeping difficult. The staff was very nice and offered to give us another room however we decided to leave. Again, the staff was really nice and refunded us the amount for the rest of our stay.
