Peaceful and very relaxing

Some reviews have complained that the apartments are located up the hill and there are a lot of steps. This is true (but should be pretty obvious from the photos) but for us this was a real bonus. The view is amazing and at night it's totally peaceful as you're away from the noisy beach area. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly (and gave us figs and prickly pears). And best of all the property is home to an adorable cat and her two kittens.

It was a slight surprise not to be able to pay by card which meant having to draw money from the local cash machine which isn't the cheapest

Disappointing

The room was very clean, as well as the sheets and towels. The view over the vineyards was amazing. There was AC, a small fridge, and a private toilet with soap and toilet paper. Valentina let us come earlier than the check-in hours, for which we were very grateful.

Even though the picture of the room showed that there is a private kitchenette, there was none. Not even a kettle to make coffee/tea, no sponge or detergent, only a few dishes, and basic cutlery. That makes you quite dependent on restaurants and shops. Parking was sometimes unavailable on the main street, and there are quite a few stairs to get to the place - take that into consideration when deciding how much stuff to bring. Valentina told us to switch off the lights and AC when we were not in the room, which of course we did, but we didn't find it necessary to be told what to do. Also, she came into the room in the morning without knocking while we were sleeping - she said that she was supposed to clean the room next to us and confused the rooms and then apologized, but it was very uncomfortable and we didn't appreciate that. Also, Valentina's husband was surprised that we didn't speak Albanian because we are from Macedonia. He was polite, but he made us uncomfortable, having in mind the ongoing political disputes. We are a very flexible couple and we have slept in many different conditions. However, when the price of a stay is bigger than the basic, we expect to be up to certain standards, especially regarding privacy and feeling comfortable.

Great location with nice sea view. Simple rooms.

Great location (however a little bit difficult the find - you have to go up the stairs from the main street).

Parking difficult - unless you use the private parking ca. 50 from the stairs to the apartment (for 5EUR/day).

Decent location, but amenities left to be desired

The hotel is located on the side of the national road running along the southern coast of Albania, opposite the beach side. The beach front is easily reachable by stairs - a little bit of a walk up and down the hill, but worth it for the view and breeze on the hotel's veranda. The hotel owners/staff are very nice and welcoming.

The rooms could do with a change of furniture - the current furnishing is very old and makes the room look run down. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom needed a shower curtain or cabin.

Fantastic views, lovely hosts

The property was very clean, well equipped and in a great location. It’s just a short walk to the beach. We loved watching the sunset from the terrace that was covered in grapevines. Lovely, warm hosts, will definitely be back!

Walking into town meant you have to walk along the main road with all the cars passing by.

The view was outstanding. The beds were very comfortable and spacious

The bathroom was very outdated but functional. There was no shampoo. There are many many stairs to the property from the road and many more to go down to the beach.

We loved the view from the terrace. There are tables, chairs and a hammock where you can chill and enhoy the amazing view.

Localisation : à proximité de tout, parking privé payant juste à côté pour 7€/jour. La vue imprenable sur la mer depuis la grande terrasse Les propriétaires charmants même s'ils ne parlent pas anglais La chambre est basique mais OK.

Pas de parking Le jeune homme en charge de gérer l'arrivée et le paiement a été très désagréable autant par message qu'en face à face. Sa mère a été plus sympathique...
