Villa Bencun

Velmi milá a vstřícná paní majitelka. Absolutní čistota, prádlo a ručníky krásně voněly. Menší ale naprosto dostačující pokoje. Jen mi chyběla v jednom pokoji skříň na oblečení ( ale to byl detail). Posezení na zastíněné terase bylo velmi prostorné, nádobí dostačující pro velkou rodinu. Klimatizace v pokojích plně funkční, stejně jako veškeré psané vybavení. Všem doporučuji

We liked that the apartment had large terrace surrounded with flowers, it was very close to the center of the city (beach, port, restaurants), and it was well-equipped (fridge, nice bathroom, air-conditioner in both bedrooms, etc). The free parking place was also a great plus. Last, but not least, the owner lady was very nice and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay in this apertment.

None, we did not encounter any problem.

Location is perfect, close to the city centre and the beach. Nice surroundings, relatively quiet place. The accomodation is clean, the rooms are OK - only the kitchen and the bathroom are old-fashioned a little.

Unfortunately the apartment is a scorpion farm, on the ground floor for sure. It’s not so annoying on the terrace (you can keep the doors always closed), but we have found not really funny to wake up in the night while hearing the big-sized adult italian scorpion gets into the bedroom through the tube of an electric cable. Quite noisy and shocking. (Guest-friendly answare of the owner: I cannot stop them.) While checking out you may enjoy the mixture of the good old Yugo ‘80s friendliness and a military camp: the whole family is standing and the owner is looking for tiny damages. We had to pay 200 kunas ‘penalty’, because a few little blood spots (wound) appeared on a sheet. The local landlady is fully incorrect despite of her sophisticated manner. Because of this bad experience and the scorpion invasion we will not get back here.
