Optimale Lage um zu Fuß die Altstadt von Malia zu erreichen. Dort gibt es sehr schöne Tavernen mit Essen auf hohem Niveau (Avli, Milos...). Bei der Anreise konnten wir schon vormittags in die Villa. Da wir einen späten Heimflug hatten, konnten wir bis nachmittags in der Villa bleiben.

Leider wurden Baggerarbeiten mit erheblichem Baulärm auf der Umgehungsstrasse (ca. 100 m hinter der Villa) durchgeführt. An 5 von 7 Tagen hatten wir daher tagsüber Baulärm.
