This place is off the charts for beauty! The host couple spent 12 years planting a beautiful tropical paradise complete with 9 parakeets and love bird singing their songs while you relax in the tastefully designed inside or outside veranda or pool area. The owners greeted us on arrival with a bottle of wine and cold-cuts and cheese plate and were friendly and warm. The inside was decorated with all sorts of art work that created a spiritual space that made us feel at home. What a nice find away from the over-crowded city of Split yet close to Trogir and the beaches. We did day trips out from here to Split, Trogir, Primosten and Sibenik. The area restaurants suggestions from the orientation book were spot on. The book had a language pronunciation guide which was helpful along with emergency phone numbers and recommendations for all sorts of things. Out of the 13 places we stayed in Croatia, this tied with first place. Go there and get renewed!

Das tropische Feeling, die Liebe zum Detail, die herzlichen und aufmerksamen Vermieter. Dieses Ferienhäuschen und der Garten sind ein Paradies zum erholen und als Ausgangspunkt um die Adriaküste sowie das Gebirge zu erkunden.
Wir waren schon in zahlreichen (und auch wirklich sehr schönen) Ferienunterkuenften , aber die Villa Tropica ist außergewöhnlich und man sollte definitiv die Möglichkeit nutzen, hier Urlaub zu machen.

We received an incredibly warm welcome from the host couple and were immediately surprised with a cold cuts and cheese platter and a bottle of wine – a great start to our vacation! The house itself is beautiful and lacks absolutely nothing. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail.
The kitchen is well-equipped, making cooking a breeze, and there are plenty of dishes. The bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of towels in the bathroom, and the shower was a dream.
The garden is simply unique – it felt like a small jungle with palm trees, chirping birds, and even a few frogs. Cute cats came by every now and then, which made it even more cozy. The pool was spotlessly clean, refreshing, and there was plenty of space to sunbathe. There were new things to discover everywhere on the property – simply fantastic.
The location is perfect – there are beautiful beaches nearby, good restaurants, and great excursions from there. We even spontaneously extended our stay and were treated to homemade pancakes at the end.
We didn't really want to leave, we felt so comfortable. An absolutely recommendable accommodation that we will definitely return to!
