Chez Eric is a very pleasant villa on a quiet street on Gorée Island, yet very close to the House of Slaves and the port. It has a lovely little patio and terrace where it was a real pleasure to enjoy our coffee or drinks. There is also a small shop right next door where we could buy all the essentials. The house was sparklingly clean. Although our room had a shared bathroom, this was not an inconvenience at all, as it was kept exceptionally clean at all times. Coumba, Eric, and every member of their staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make everyone feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Gorée Island.
