Everything..
I know a lot of people put "Everything" but I mean this.. from the location to the house itself, it's everything I could have wished for.. the house had an immediate homely feel to it, each room is decorated with care and attention.
The house is warm and cozy and has all the space upto 4 people could ever want. It has 2 bathrooms, the upstairs one has a walk in shower and the downstairs one has a bath.
The kitchen has all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay, a microwave and a full sized cooker, all the pots and pans and cutlery/utensils etc etc.
The 'sunroom' or HUGE conservatory is probably my favourite room (as it was with other renters) it's massive and has a real log/coal fire, which worked perfectly.. it also has plenty of outdoor and indoor different lighting options and two large settees to relax upon, and yet another dining table..
It also has a well maintained large enclosed garden with some seating..
Mairi the host was also helpful and gave some local knowledge before arrival, as well as the numerous booklets and leaflets in the 'sunroom' of local 'things to do' and a few local 'places to eat' which was very helpful..
The only downside was having to leave!
The silly low score reviews..
It's an old building so there will be a little bit of play in things like door handles, ie there is a bit of 'nothing happens' and then the door mechanism starts to work.. kinda normal for an old door really... its unfair to mark a place down because you can't turn a door handle and open a door properly, or moan about a few creaky floorboards and mark it down for that, its an old house so most people would expect these things, and not give a low score..
Also, if you can't follow clear and simple instructions to push a button or two then it's also unfair to mark something down because, well.. your lacking a few braincells in my personal opinion..
The door handles , the creaks etc etc.. it all adds to the charm of the house!
**Also I've noticed that some people have deliberately given a low score because they actually LIKE the place, because if it has a low score then it's more likely to be available, for THEM.........
Personally I'm glad I ignored the low scores and booked!

When we arrived, we found the house to be immaculately clean. The instructions given regarding how to turn on the heating, etc. were all very clear and we had no trouble settling in right away. We spent just about all of our time here in the garden room, which even in early April was warm and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Bedrooms were very cosy and made with high quality linen, which was a welcome touch - we slept very well. Overall, a very refreshing long weekend - we stayed here to recharge somewhat both being a bit stressed with work, and we had a lovely time. Would 100% return.
No dislikes at all - we had an exceptional stay. A teatowel in the kitchen would've been handy for drying dishes but that's a very minor point.
