Perfect Stay

Auchencairn Cottage was superbly positioned on the A9 on the northern fringes of Brora and provided an ideal base for the eastern and northern legs of the NC500. It was well appointed, homely and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory, having our evening meal with the wild rabbits happily munching on the lawn.

Brora is such a nice place with all you need nearby, beach, Co op, charity shop, ice cream great.

Stunning location, large driveway, traditional home very well decorated and all amenities nearby definitely recommend. Exceeded my expectations and would go again in a heartbeat.

Had a relaxing week’s holiday in very comfortable surroundings

The house is situated well for visiting different places and handy for Brora’s beautiful beach..We loved the garden room which was bright and very comfortable . It was great to have deckchairs to sit out the back garden in the lovely weather. Mairi , the owner ,was only a text/ call away which was very handy when we left to come home and forgot our keys . We would definitely love to to go back .

Home away from home, favourite room is definitely the conservatory lovely place to relax in. Could not of asked for a better place to stay for our short tour.

Great house in decent location

The house was spacious, cosy, neat and tidy. it was also a great base for exploring the surrounding area situated directly on the NC500 route. Brora itself is a bit quiet with only a few restaurants, bars but that suited us. it depends what you’re looking for.

Perfect home from home

Immaculate taste - fusing original period of house with lovely fresh modern touch - very uplifting and pleasing . Comfortable large sunroom is our favourite place as the weather is irrelevant. It’s always a happy place. Cosy sitting room and charming bedrooms with super puffy duvets .

The cottage location was perfect for exploring the local area and North Coast and also for accessing Brora beach. The beds were very comfortable and the facilities good. The conservatory was a lovely place to sit and relax.

The house was very comfortable and clean, loved the amazing sun room and the lovely private garden.

The property is just off a busy road which we walked along to reach the village, however noise from the road wasn't a problem when in the house or the garden at the back.

Loved the conservatory, fires and the comfy beds. Setting was very peaceful, despite being so close to road there was really no road noise. Brora was walking distance away allowing plenty of exploring of the town

Tolle Woche in einem schönen Cottage

Schönes Cottage mit einem richtig schönen großen Wintergarten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Trotz Lage an der Straße war es im Cottage richtig ruhig, Verkehrslärm war absolut nicht zu hören.

Sofas im Wintergarten waren ziemlich niedrig, für ältere Menschen schwierig. Bettenbreite eher für xs als xl Leutchen geeignet.

Dat je zowel buiten veel ruimte had maar Zeker als het regende je perfect binnen zat!

Het tapijt boven waar veel beestjes liepen, we hebben eerst goed gezogen boven!
