There is no direct train from Rome till Cori, but you can take train till Cisterna and host will pick you up from the st

Fabulous opportunity to relax and discover a little-known and very historic part of Italy

Beautiful location with large swimming pool garden overlooking the plain towards Rome. Barbara was fantastic: she booked us in for dinner at a local restaurant 50 yards down the hill on our first evening; she told us where to eat and how to explore Cori and the local sights; and she filled us in on local history. Our apartment - living room with kitchen plus bathroom downstairs / bedroom and small terrace upstairs - was delightful. Conad, the local supermarket, 5 mins drive away, provided all the incidental food and wine we needed for the stay.

Nothing serious. The gas hob in the kitchen was fabulous, with 6 different rings; but there was no oven or microwave to bake food, so salads and pasta were the obvious choices. No hardship there!

Honestly, absolutely everything! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the only down side was that we had to leave. You will not regret booking this fantastic place. Barbara is one of the most helpful and kind hosts we have experienced. Extremely prompt with communication. Barbara gave us some amazing tips for what to do snd where to eat while we were there, even helping with booking. The pool is large and very well equipped. The apartment was very generous in size, super clean and with all the essentials you could need for a few day stay. The garden and surroundings were so beautiful and well maintained. As I said, nothing but positive comments to say!

Beautiful setting

We really enjoyed our stay. The pictures do not do it justice! The view from the garden is amazing and the pool area is lovely, peaceful with loads of beds. The apartment we stayed in was spacious, had a modern bathroom and comfy decent size bed. The kitchenette was also handy with a fridge and gas hob. Wifi was available and if you wish to have new towels/the bed made everyday that is possible. The property felt secure behind a gate with lots of parking. Barbara was a great host helping make our stay better despite the unusual rain! She was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond when we needed her but also let us have our space and our stay felt private. If you like dogs and cats then there are a couple of furry friends around too!

Mosquitoes but you will probably get that in most places! We underestimated the walk to the town in the evenings to the restaurants, so recommend a car or be prepared to work off your dinner as it’s quite a steep hill. There is currently no taxi service in Cori. More coverage for the terrace during rain or replacement of wet cushions would have been good as sadly we didn’t get to use it.

Beautiful gardens, a wonderful pool and an amazing room. The facilities were perfect, a bedroom on the mezzanine with a private terrace and downstairs a perfectly sized kitchen and dining space. We couldn't have enjoyed this visit more and can't recommend it enough. You have the visit!

Lovely room/ apartment with simple kitchen and sunny private balcony. The pool area was nice with a view of the area.

The bed madras was quite soft and the bed frame wonky.

Exceptional

We loved the views, gardens, pool and spacious room. We were delighted with the hospitality and restaurant suggestions of our host. We were also very grateful for the ample eggs and bacon, juice, milk and bread to feed our hungry family breakfast with the kitchen facilities. We ate out on the terrace by the pool with views to the countryside and distant ocean. Sunsets were magnificent. Cori was also a delightful authentically Italian town with much history.

Das Castello ist wunderschön und mit sehr viel Geschmack und Liebe restauriert und eingerichtet. Der Garten ist ein Traum und der Blick über die Ebene mit der großen Pinie ist atemberaubend, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang. Trotz, dass es sehr viele Mücken gibt, hatten wir dank der hochwertigen Fliegengitter keine einzige in der Wohnung! Barbara, Giulia und Michaela sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Ein Toaster wäre noch super in der Wohnung.

bel posto suggestivo, bella vista ma peccato la manutenzione.

La dependance in cui abbiamo soggiornato aveva un forte odore di chiuso, con presenza di muffa sulle pareti. Siamo stati costretti a dormire con le finestre aperte.

Stilvolle Unterkunft, ideal zum Entspannen nach anstrengenden Besichtigungstouren

Sehr schöne Anlage, mit antiken Ruinenresten sowie vielen Olivenbäumen im großen Garten; viele Katzen und ein Hund sorgten bei den Kindern für Ablenkung. Für die Fahrt nach Rom ist die Zugverbindung zu empfehlen. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die gerne praktische Tipps gibt. Großer Pool mit Liegestühlen. Sehr schöner Ausblick auf das Meer.

Katzen springen auf Stühle und Tische (normal), was ggf. das Essen etwas angenehmer macht. Keine Mosquito-Netze in der kleineren Wohnung.
