Idyllic place to stay on the island. Loved it

This was one of the best stays we’ve had. The lady running the place (perhaps the owner) was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was very cute, it was super clean, it had all the stuff we needed: shampoo, soap.. ever the kitchen was quite equipped. Even though it didn’t have the stovetop, it had water boiler, coffee maker, egg boiler, rice cooker. They also gave complimentary cookies. I loved the most the balcony - we ate there, watched the birds in the morning, it was peaceful and beautiful.

It was fully booked when we decided to extend our stay. :( but I see why, it was the perfect stay on the island.

Definitely worth the stay! It’s a diamond in the jungle

The property felt like a real retreat, it was tranquil and very peaceful. The owner was so lovely and greeted us because we were late due to missing the boat the island. It was great walking distance to the main strip and to the beach.

Horrible, unwelcoming experience with combative host who were rude

Jardim /garden

The hostess and her companions were quite rude and aggressive when we asked them not to enter our room without permission, as we had refused room service. They insisted and violated our privacy and our request. They expected us to leave the inn to enjoy the day and then entered without our permission just to snoop. As a result, she called the police to try to evict us, but the police officers were courteous and sided with us. We continued our stay there because we believed they would obey the police officers' request not to enter our room again! They were very strict about the electricity. We always turned everything off when we knew. They were insulting and rude hosts. The bed wasn't a real double bed – it was split in half and joined together, causing discomfort for sleeping. The power went out at least 12 times, and sometimes we had to ask them to turn the air conditioning back on. On the last day and night, it simply didn't work, except for a flickering light. The guesthouse had a generator that was only turned on when the owner deemed it necessary, when other guests also complained about power outages. The tap water was yellowish; it wasn't like that at another guesthouse we stayed at. The kitchen had enough furniture to cook with, but it wasn't possible because it lacked the most important thing: a stove or an electric pan that worked. The dirt roads, dust, and mud to get there didn't compensate for the effort. Due to the inconvenience and the way we were treated and insulted by the police's show of force to remove us, I request a full or partial refund; otherwise, I will file a lawsuit. It cost 6,000 reais for 5 nights, a terrible experience; I paid a lot to go through inconvenience and frustration. My stay at Recanto de Flores Lofts began with the cancellation of my reservation through Booking.com because the card machine wouldn't accept the payment.

Beautiful and well equipped place in a great location

Everything was perfect! The location was near the main street but still quiet. The place was very well equipped. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating of our requests. The kitchen has a grill, coffee maker, rice cooker, microwave, and an electric kettle. It was perfect to make a great breakfast as well as some simple meals. The place is also wonderfully decorated, and there were always a bunch of birds around. Highly recommended.

Great little place, everything was amazing. The host was extremely warm and helpful. Breakfast was homemade. The place is walking distance (under 4 minutes) from the Abraao center, but its secluded so its really quiet.

It would be cool to have mosquito nets on the windows. Especially on the bathroom window.

Lovely setting just on the edge of town so very quiet but really easy for (3 min walk) bars and restaurants. Breakfast was superb and the homemade cakes, at breakfast were delicious. Great to have tea / coffee making facilities very clean and welcoming. P

My only comment would be it would be nice to have some more comfortable chairs for the veranda.

A charming and relaxing place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the staff even cleaned my sneakers that were muddied after a day of hiking (without being asked to).

Staff was very nice, polite, and helpful. Gave us directions for hiking and provided us with an umbrella for the rain. Property was beautiful, quite and off the main road. Had a nice breakfast and a coffee station that was always available. Place to wash the sand off our feet before entering our room and a drying rack. Our room was clean and comfortable :) very nice place and would love to go back and stay again.

A decent option for a few nights in Ilha Grande

- very nice owner - at least one of them (the other seemed grumpy all the time and somehow annoyed by guests. Maybe it was only my perception.) - very clean room - 10 minutes walk from the harbor and restaurants - quiet location

- weird smell in the room (I think it came from the substance the furniture was treated with) - row of little, tiny insects on the wall near the bed - but I guess this is what staying in the middle of nature means. They don't do anything harmful, they mind their own business, so do not worry about that. - very basic breakfast, only a few options available. I think it could be improved.

Lovely setting and had a homely feel to it. Well thought out layout and very comtable The court yard was beautiful and relaxing ambience. The breakfast was scrummy! The owner was very accommodating and let me use her phone to contact my airline who had cancelled my flight, she was very patient with me even though the call lasted 50 mins!

Séjour merveilleux à Ilha Grande. La pousada est nichée au cœur d’un magnifique jardin, entourée de nature et d’oiseaux, ce qui crée une atmosphère très paisible. Le logement était très confortable et propre. L’hôte est extrêmement sympathique, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Sa gentillesse a vraiment marqué notre séjour.

A Naira, dona da pousada, nos recebeu com muito carinho. Sempre solícita e com um sorriso no rosto. Nos sentimos em casa. Jardim cuidado com muito carinho e muito bonito. Excepcional

Lugar perfecto para pasar las vacaciones. Cerca del centro pero sin ruidos. Un jardín hermoso con todo tipo de aves. El dormitorio excelente, cama muy cómoda, kitchenette con heladera y un baño muy limpio. De uso común hay una pileta para lavar ropa y un dispensador de agua filtrada. Naira estuvo siempre con una sonrisa para lo que necesitamos.

La isla suele tener cortes de agua y luz. En ambos casos Naira lo solucionó brindando agua embotellada y disponiendo de un generador.

Limpio, bien equipado, buena ubicación, el personal amable y atento, la cama cómoda y muy lindo el lugar en sí. Tenian duchas para lavarse los pies antes de entrar y quitarse la arena del cuerpo, agua potable para sacar a libre disposición, la habitación tenía hervidor, te, café, endulzante, una sandwichera que fue de gran utilidad para los desayunos previo a los tours.
