This property is a little tucked away from the main town. You have to walk through a little area where I suspect more locals live or people that remain on the island I like that really close by there’s a school on the island which was nice to see. The property was very accommodating and let me check in several hours earlier because of my time of arrival. There was bug spray in the room, which I thought was a nice added touch. The room I booked had a pretty full kitchen with a fridge microwave plates cutlery, which is very nice to have on hand. The property seemed very accommodating. They looked like there were bikes there. I did not use it or inquire about it. They didn’t immediately provide room service the first night but they later asked if I wanted it and when I declined, they still did offer to change my towels. I like that it was a little hidden away, though easy to get to without climbing up any hills or extremely narrow paths.
The place was great for an island. I suspect that this is definitely one of the better accommodations, though I may be wrong. The bed was slightly uncomfortable, but I sleep quite easily, and this didn’t matter. Because of all the foliage and the occasional rain, there can be quite a few mosquitoes so just make sure to close all your windows when you get there and spray down your room. I was on the bottom floor and the room is a little dim but this didn’t matter to me as I was out of my room for most of the time. In addition, if you’re on the bottom floor and you prefer your windows open, most people coming onto the property can easily see into your room again this is not a bother. You can easily close your blinds.

Super logement ! On a adoré passé quelques jours là bas. L’appartement est grand et spacieux. La proprio a été super sympa et agréable.
C’est également très bien placé car à seulement 2min de la rue principale.

We felt so welcome by the lady who runs this place. She is lovely and always attentive to our needs. The two-story house was a great place to stay for a few days. Downstairs is the kitchen (no actual cooking facilities but lots of equipment to help you fix up a simple meal, like a rice cooker and a toastie machine an egg boiling machine) and a small seating area as well as the bathroom. Upstairs are the beds. Some chairs and a table on the patio as well from where you can see hummingbirds fly around the garden. We much appreciated the drinking water fountain and the outdoor shower for sandy feet. The location was perfect: quiet, away from the loud music and busyness of the waterfront but very close to walk to all the action. Also very safe. The fact that there is a generator is great because electricity supply on the island isn’t very stable. Because of the generator you’ll always have lights and WiFi.
The water pressure in the shower was a little poor; for people with long hair it could be a challenge to properly rinse it. Also the fact that the bedroom is upstairs and the toilet downstairs may be a disadvantage for people who are less mobile or who have to use the toilet often during the night. For us it was no issue.

The place is super clean, the garden is cute and the lady managing the place is super lovely.
The bed was a bit small and the mattress not the most comfortable.
