Well marked trails lead from the property in to an amazing mostly untouched forest. We spent hours walking there, picking berries, looking for wild life and just taking in the scenery. For meals we took the hosts' recommendation of a near by pizza place in an old barn and truly excellent farm shops and cafes. The lodge and rooms are high quality and very comfortable.

Everything! The location, the rooms, the sauna, sitting outside in the outdoor spaces and the short walking trails through the woods and along the fields. And of course the lovely hosts. We will definitely come back.
