Perfectly positioned for guests seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this tranquil home sits across the road from the sand in a private community of Grayton Beach. You'll be a short walk from the Red Bar, Hurricane Oyster Bar, Grayton Beer Brewpub, and other local favorites half a mile east, and only a mile west of lovely hiking trails and the calm shores of Western Lake in Grayton Beach State Park.

There is ongoing construction right across the street on the beach side. Construction will go on through summer 2024.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. We have been vacationing in and around Grayton Beach since the mid 2000's. This is the second year in a row we (6 adults & 2 toddlers) stayed at Inn The Pink. You cannot beat the Gulf Trace neighborhood, nor the neighborhood access to the beach. The proximity to the beach is perfect for anyone, but especially perfect for the littles. Once on the beach, the state park is to the east and to the west, which makes for way less human occupancy. The new decking includes a perfect ramp (game changer!), wide steps, and a large 'living'/'play' area. Heads up, baby gates for the outside/inside stairs are not included on the property. The large deck faces the ocean, has ample seating, and has a perfectly sized awning/roof that offers relief from the sun for the eastern part of the deck for most of the day. The deck was consistently our favorite place to gather when not on the beach. We set the grands up with their toys on the deck & even got them to take a nap out there. The sunroom is another favorite spot to sit and enjoy the (now) partial ocean view. It is off the kitchen and leads to the deck, which allows you to be a 'part of' those on the deck, but still have the comforts of the AC. We all love that the owners have the most colorful house in the neighborhood. We hope it stays vibrant !pink! for many years to come! Oh, and never replace the iconic 'orange swimming pool', aka the downstairs jacuzzi bathtub...ha!

This house was in the PERFECT location for a stay in Grayton Beach. The deck was great and the size of the house was perfect for 5 adults and two kids. However, the outdoor shower didn't work and there was no hose or working water spicket on the exterior of the house to rinse sand off before entering. The upstairs shower curtain and liner were covered in mold, the bathmat was unwashed (visible dried toothpaste everywhere), and there were lots of high touch areas (door handles and frames, etc) that were obviously dirty. We tried multiple times to contact VRBO to address these issues and were told they were contacting the onsite management, but nothing was ever addressed. The kitchen was very clean and had most of what we needed, but no Tupperware or storage containers, so bring those if you plan on having leftovers at all. Everything was very dated which didn't bother us a bit - that shows in the pictures when booking, and we were on the beach most of the day anyway! But there was a good bit of peeling paint on doors, doorframes, baseboards. Between that and the age of the house I would be aware with very young kids in case of lead paint.
