Very nice old country house. We have been travelling in 4 so plenty of space in the house with 3 rooms. The nice owners met us on arrival explaining how to use all the facilities. Not expected the big gas grill and 2 bicles at site! Small market and a very nice restaurant were located right behind the corner (150m). Winehouse nearby too. Big garden where you can play badminton, volleyball or whatever you like.
The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere and despite the lake is not far away to cherrish Balaton you either need to use the bicycles or go by car. The access to the lake is not that easy so you need to go to one of the paid strands. I recommend the one in Balatonfured, ca. 5km away.

The house was very well kept. Romantic and rustic style. Not far away from Csopak, the next bigger town, but very quiet and peaceful.
Cleanliness was disappointing. When we opened the tree shades for the windows, there were plenty dead bugs and dirt on the inside. It was the same in the corners and the little bathroom. We have had the feeling that it was not cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. The double bed in the master bedroom was very soft, really uncomfortable. A new mattress could have raised the comfort level.
