The host was very pleasant and always helpful. Also the apartment is very spacious and has all the amenities.

Sue (the owner) met me at the property to handover the keys. She was extremely friendly, kind and welcoming. She took my partner and I through the apartment, explaining all facilities in detail. The apartment / property is located in an ideal location from popular destinations. The apartment was clean, the aircon was amazing in the Durban heat and Sue left us to do what we like. Have to admit, I was amazed at the apartment size when first walked in - the actual experience definitely exceeded what was on the Booking.com website. My partner and I are definitely returning to Broadway Bay Accommodation and looking forward to seeing Sue again! :)

I like that the accommodation was close to amenities that was more or less 1km walk from the the apartment. The apartment was functional and there was an easy access to facilities in the apartment. The bathroom was cute - hidden as if it was closet.

The host sounded like someone who was prying. She asked me questions about my friend who helped me checked in. My friend stays in the area, so I was at my friend's place before I checked in. The questions were related to the conversation they (the host and my friend) had. She asked me questions over and over again to ensure there wasn't any gaps. I felt I was being audited - not in a good way. And that was not a nice feeling to have. It could stem from multiple perspectives, but as I feel now; it is unjustifiable, especially for someone who is on holiday. Furthermore, my guests noticed that they are being watched at the gate; they were waiting for me in the car. Multiple times I noticed when I opened the gate with the remote to the gate, the host closes it by herself after me when she is in her house which was in front of the apartment, and this happened on several occasions. I was in and out of property a lot because I wanted to do a lot for the few days I stayed there. I don't drive, and used uber a lot when my friends are not available, but I noticed a lot of watching. I was being told about my movements, which made me uncomfortable. Instead of asking me "Do you enjoy your stay thus far?" She opts to monitoring me. In my mind I was like "No way". The wifi isn't that good either. A separate router should be in the apartment for speed pick up. I wanted to reconcile the score they had on their wall of 9.7 and 9.8 for two different years with my experience, but I couldn't. My guest was not there to sleep, so none of that happened. In addition, the rule is that are two people allowed in the apartment. *Also, there was a used bar of soap in the bath room basin* If you wanna have instruction for your guests, it should be clear and not vague. There were many questions asked.
