Le Balcon

Le gîte est propre, la terrasse très jolie. En pleine canicule, l'hôte a veillé à ce que le logement reste le plus frais possible avant notre arrivé et des ventilateurs sont dans les chambres, les lits sont confortables .

We like the ground floor flat very much; no steps anywhere. The driveway is steep and difficult but hubby copes well. The tip to go past the drive, turn round at the dead end, and approach from the top helps.  It is compact, but Una has thought of everything! There is washing up liquid, Soap powder for the washing machine, a hand towel by the basin plus bath towels. The heated towel rail is actually on. I'm drying my small washing load on it!  The washing machine is excellent. The walk-in shower is very good. Beds are comfortable with pretty bed linen. Each room has a comfy arm chair, & one a desk and chair and the other a settee. The garden is narrow but long with lots of seating and filled with roses and many plants. Also there are pretty solar lights for when it's dark. There are insect screens and wooden shutters for a dark, insect free night. We felt relaxed and enjoyed exploring the area, en route to the Cévennes.

We didn't like the traffic noise, pretty much all day. But this is no reflection on the owners, of course! It stopped at night, however and the double glazing blocked it at siesta time!

Todo muy bien pensado. Ideal para estadías prolongadas en la zona. Muy bien equipado, práctico y limpio.

El acceso al estacionamiento es más fácil de como lo describe el dueño: Subí la calle en reversa por unos metros y entré hacia adelante.
