MAQUINILLA PORTAL 4A

My wife and I stayed in this spacious 3 bed apartment which was clean and well equipped with a balcony (and roof terrace accessed up a few flights of stairs). Mimii our host was friendly and informative throughout. The apartment is in a residential area so quiet in respect that no noise from bars/restaurants etc although I found the comings and goings of the motor scooters a bit noisy. Also (not the fault of the apartment) the residents in apartment above were noisy, constantly walking back and forth throughout the night. Didn't worry my wife but as a light sleeper kept me awake. About 15 minutes walk from the coast/beach and literally 2 mins from bus station.

Sorry to be critical but we were very disappointed with the roof terrace which could be a gem and were looking forward to using. Basically (in our opinion) it is where old patio furniture goes to die. It needs attention. With a little work, it could be so much nicer.

Het ruime appartement heeft 3 grote slaapkamers, 2 badkamers waarvan één zeer groot, en een goed uitgeruste aparte keuken met ruim voldoende serviesgoed. De woonkamer en alle slaapkamers hebben goed werkende airco. Het ruime balkon is heerlijk om te zitten. De lokatie is ook prima, op nog geen 10 minuten lopen van het centrum, in een rustige straat, maar ook vlakbij het busstation. De verhuurder is altijd bereikbaar via WhatsApp en reageert zeer snel op vragen. Hellemaal top!

De bank in de woonkamer vonden wij niet zo comfortabel.

Everything was perfect

Very good location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, 15 walk to Balcon de Europa/beach. The apartment is big with all the facilities. We found a parking spot almost always nearby, but if not there is a big free parking 7 min away. The staff is very nice and helpful. We would come back when in Nerja.
