Avoid

Location is all I could see as the hotel was not available upon arrival. Also zero answer for my complaint.

The machine that is supposed to distribute the key - not working, provided phone numbers - not answering. Avoid if you want to catch some sleep in your drive trip before or after ferry.

We have used this hotel before as it is excellent location for us.

The location is great for a short drive to the Euro tunnel Breakfast was very good. Good meal at the American Diner which is a 2 minute walk over the road.

Good location for a stop off when getting the ferry but a bit out of the town for getting food. The accommodation is good for the price; clean and comfortable if a bit small.

Functional.

The manager was very approachable and took pride in his role. No coffee, tea or eggs. The location for us was selected due to the proximity to a charging point which worked well.

The rooms are a small. The pillows too thin. Unfortunately, there was a power outage from 6 am and I was in the dark inside the shower room when the lights went off. This could have been dangerous for someone with mobility issues. A cup of tea or coffee in the morning would have been good. We had to buy our coffee in a cafe which was annoying as we had already paid for breakfast.

Checkin was easy, staff friendly. Beds were comfortable. Value for money was very good. Overall, our experience was much better than we expected on the last night of our European tour. We would use B&B Hotels again.

We realised the price had gone up from last year, and we weren’t able to park our motorbikes at the rear of the property. We then realised on arrival it’s because of the Tour de France. They were quite roudy, affecting our well needed sleep.

A good all round experience for a stay before taking a ferry.

The hotel offered exactly what I expected for the money I paid. It was clean, friendly, helpful and had a well stocked breakfast servery. I did not expect a hot option but bacon and scrambled egg was a welcome addition.

The location left little option for evening meal venues without traveling back into town. 30 minutes walk to the station. However, I did learn later that all buses are free to ride in Calais!
