Hyde Park Mansion Loft Luxury 2 Bed 2 Bath Apt, Gourmet Kitchen, Washer & Dryer

Fantastic 3rd floor property with lots of old home charm! Had no troubles during our stay and check in communication was simple and clear. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bath, apartment beautifully decorated in Arts and Crafts style. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. It is on the third floor of a classic mansion in a very nice neighborhood in Hyde Park. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. It was perfect for me and my girlfriend. The entry is on the back up two flights of steps. Very doable. Parking was safe and secure behind the mansion. I highly recommend this beautiful VRBO lodging and I would return again. It is very convenient to the primary tour sites in KC and near the trolley street line, which is great!

We had a 4 day event at the KC Convention Center….. 4 of us stayed in VRBO b/c cheaper than downtown hotel plus we could “spread out”, cook our own meals, and park for free. Easy drive to get downtown. It was great! We brought our dog and loved taking her for multiple walks a day b/c the neighborhood felt safe ( even at 5 am in the dark) and the architecture of the houses was breath taking. Beautiful historic neighborhood. The Arts & Crafts style of VRBO was charming. Beds were comfortable. It might be “tight” with 6 adults but was perfect for 4. We loved it! Not good for someone who can’t handle multiple flights of steps. Host was very responsive to all my questions and concerns leading up to our arrival…. Very helpful.

The place was very cozy and charming! The neighborhood is kind of sketchy but you can definitely see the historical charm this neighborhood still holds. Parking is not really meant for more than 1 vehicle. We had two vehicles and had to park one on the street. Not a terrible inconvenience but I would have liked the added security of on-site parking instead of on-street parking. Host is not super-communicative. Check-in information inside the house isn’t complete so if you have questions and reach out to the host, be prepared to wait a bit for a response. The place has some really nice upgraded features while maintaining some historical charm. There were a few areas that needed fixing/repair but nothing that hampered the enjoyment of the facilities. Cute and cozy and worked for our needs.
