North Pier Hotel

Stayed at NP for four days, the hotel reception lady is a treasure to that establishment. Helpful, kind & very personable. Cleaning staff did an amazing job 👏 , hotel staff/bar staff all round cooked some good meals , good vibe and wood fire on cold days was amazing. I stayed in a room with a view and highly recommend it. There is only one thing that I didnt realise and its that there is no microwave due to hotel policy. So no meals in rooms late late at night if youve been out all day. There is coffee and tea facilities though. Will be staying again 😍

Lovely clean room, great location and value, rooms are not soundproof proof and there can be noise from other guests - so I recommend ear plugs

We recently stayed at North Pier Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. Considering the amount we paid for our accommodation, we expected better service, facilities and attention to guests’ basic needs. We booked a room for four people for two nights, but the coffee, tea, milk and sugar provided were insufficient for our stay. At the very least, the hotel should ensure that basic refreshments are supplied in reasonable quantities based on the number of guests and the length of their stay. We ended up having to purchase our own coffee, tea, milk and sugar, which was disappointing and inconvenient. These are small but essential amenities that guests reasonably expect to be included, especially when paying for a two-night stay. It is not simply about the cost of these items, but about the level of hospitality, thoughtfulness and customer care. Guests should not have to worry about purchasing basic refreshments when staying at a hotel. Even if the initial supplies are limited, additional items should be made easily available to accommodate guests staying multiple nights. We chose North Pier Hotel hoping for a comfortable and enjoyable family getaway, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. When a room is booked for four guests, the hotel should take this into consideration when preparing the room and providing amenities. Overall, we do not feel that our stay offered good value for the money we spent. We hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve the experience for future guests. Unfortunately, based on our recent experience, we would hesitate to choose North Pier Hotel again.
