Marathi Apartments

Good sized apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room/kitchen each with their own a/c. One large balcony and one small one. Excellent location a few minutes walk to the nearby family friendly sandy beach. Eleni was a wonderful host who even gave us some cooked greek vegetables one evening which were delicious. Because we were so close to the beach it was easy to get a sun lounger for the day as long as you get their early before it starts getting busy. Able to hire paddle boards, kayaks and boats (with or without a hired driver) within a 5 min walk. 2 main restaurants nearby and a smaller cafe with beers, ice creams and fantastic souvlaki. About a 20min drive to Chania airport and 35min to Chania town.

Prices fairly high in the restaurants in Marathi beach, but easy to drive to others nearby with a car.

Excellent stay! The accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very convenient. The decoration made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect during our stay. The environment was peaceful and quiet, which allowed us to have a great rest. The air conditioning worked very well, and we didn't have any problems with mosquitoes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

The only minor drawback was that the bathroom was a little small, and sound insulation there could be improved, as conversations inside the bathroom could sometimes be heard from outside. However, this did not affect our overall experience.

I loved everything about this place, Eleni was charming and kind location was perfect for Marathi beach and apartment was very clean! I will be back next year to stay longer Thank you Eleni See you next year Filakia

Fabulous location. A warm welcome from Eleni, including pastries on arrival. The apartment had everything we needed. We had stayed in a few places round Chania, this was our favourite.
