Het zwembad en de geur van sinaasappelbloesem. Het is een goed verzorgd, ruim, traditioneel huis met een heerlijke tuin. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving, zoals een bezoek aan Taormina, Etna of een leuke boottocht op zee (met dolfijnen).
Als je ergens heen wil moet je met de auto. Je zit heel dicht bij de bewoonde wereld met winkels en supermarkten dichtbij. Maar door de lange toegangsweg voelt wandelen niet echt als een optie. Sowieso lijken Sicilianen alles met de auto te doen. Je ziet zelden wandelaars of fietsers.

It was a villa so breakfast wasn't included.
The pool and the garden were fantastic.
There was building work going on opposite so it was noisy and dusty on the road where we parked the car but the garden was sheltered so got no noise or dust.
The access road to the villa was a bit bumpy with lots of pot holes and was very dark at night.

The garden and the location are just perfect. We had an issue with the shower but the host solved it directly. Which was great.
It was quite dark inside and although it looked clean it was a little bit dusty.
Subjective but we felt that the bed was still quite hard.
