Everything was exactly as described. The house is beautifully situated in a quiet, secluded area surrounded by citrus orchards. The charming garden with a private pool made it easy for us to truly relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommend this place as a great base for exploring the island, as well as for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities and crowded beaches. Communication with the owner was excellent. Both he and his team made sure we had a wonderful stay and contributed greatly to making our experience so enjoyable.

The best place to explore the eastern Sicilian coast. Also, best swimming pool with warm water at the beginning of July, deep enough to jump headfirst, no one wanted to leave! Enough shade under the orange trees. You can watch Etna live from the master bedroom and discern the sea from over the orange orchid garden from the terrace. The pool and garden cleaned by invisible fairies every night. A car is a must, 12 mins to Giardini Naxos, 15 to Taormina, and Alcantara Gorge, please don't skip an escapade to fabulous Castelmola! In Trappitello, you can shop at nice supermarkets, and the local steakhouse is truly tasty and hospitable, though it looks humble. Really attentive and responsive host; we are very grateful for Pietro's assistance when Etna decided to give an amazing show. Cannot recommend more for the best Sicily adventure!

Het zwembad en de geur van sinaasappelbloesem. Het is een goed verzorgd, ruim, traditioneel huis met een heerlijke tuin. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving, zoals een bezoek aan Taormina, Etna of een leuke boottocht op zee (met dolfijnen).

Als je ergens heen wil moet je met de auto. Je zit heel dicht bij de bewoonde wereld met winkels en supermarkten dichtbij. Maar door de lange toegangsweg voelt wandelen niet echt als een optie. Sowieso lijken Sicilianen alles met de auto te doen. Je ziet zelden wandelaars of fietsers.
