Just a wonderful relaxing week for our exploration of the countryside between Charente and Gironde and the Atlantic 🤩. Olivier and his family are excellent hosts … same goes for their cats and dogs. The home-made dinners and breakfast items are delicious; comfy beds, the shadowed garden and a working A/C made our stay during that again hot week perfect!

Olivier is a fantastic host and we had a lovely evening sitting in the garden and enjoying dinner with other guests. Loved it!

The lovely renovations were able to blend the best features of open timbers and stonework with the elegance of modern convenience. The host Olivier was exceptional in his welcoming disposition and extremely helpful advice on local sites, restaurants, and historical interests.
