Tolomeo's House-Bed & Bike

Miriano war bereits im Vorfeld sehr hilfsbereit und antwortete stets sofort. Tolomeo war eines der best ausgestatteten Ferienwohnungen die wir hatten. Die Lage in einer Sackgasse in der Altstadt ist sehr gut und es ist ruhig. Die Abende auf der Dachterrasse haben wir sehr genossen. Tagsüber war es dort zu heiß, dasHaus ist aber gut klimatisiert.

Die Lage in der Altstadt bedingt dass man relativ weit entfernt parken muss. Das mag für manche Menschen beschwerlich sein. Aber für uns war es gut machbar. Es ist nur als Hinweis gedacht.

La casa es fantástica. En pleno centro de Nardó y siendo una calle muy tranquila y sin ruido. La casa es grande, amplia y cómoda. El dueño nos dejó agua embotellada, vino, café y más cosas para el desayuno. Un detalle que se agradece mucho

Por tenerlo en cuenta, se sube a la habitación y a la terraza por una escalera de caracol. Por si se viaja con niños o personas muy mayores

Wir wurden von einer netten Dame erwartet. Die Lage war mehr als Top. Es fehlten in beiden Schlafzimmern ein Kleiderschrank oder zumindest die Möglichkeit die Klamotten für zwei Leute für 10 Tage abzulegen Im unteren Badezimmer funktionierte weder die Handdusche noch die Wc-Handdusche. Aber die Lage und die Freundlichkeit haben das ausgeglichen. Wir kommen 20216 wieder..

Es fehlt definitiv ein Kleiderschrank und vielleicht Geschirrtücher

The location is perfect for the historical centre, quiet and peaceful yet just a street away from the main piazza. The communication with the host, Miriano, was flawless, and extremely helpful. It was the best stocked place we’ve ever stayed, with water, wine, coffee, juice, jams, biscuits, towels, sheets and cleaning products etc, which was really welcoming. The second bedroom is completely separated, and accessed via the roof terrace, up a spiral staircase, so you go out of the main section of the property and outside across the roof terrace to access it, which we hadn’t properly understood before arrival. This arrangement was tricky for us as we have two small children and didn’t feel comfortable having them so far away from us at night, so we made use of the (comfortable!) sofa bed in the living area next to the main bedroom. This is not a criticism - it would be ideal for older children or travel with friends, especially since the second bathroom is also on that level (albeit still inside the main property) so it’s almost like two apartments with their own spaces and privacy. The roof terraces are wonderful, really atmospheric and split across three levels with an outside shower on the top level! Fantastic. We stayed very off season, in April, so the traditional high ceilings and stone floors designed to keep the place refreshingly cool in summer was quite chilly underfoot - bring slippers!! The aircon units functioned as heaters so we were never cold. Huge thanks to Miriano for looking after us so well, wonderful hosting!

Parking was trickier than we had expected - the streets surrounding the pedestrianised historical centre were almost always very full and a couple of times we struggled to find a space. Not a fault with the property itself, but something to consider if you’re bringing a car.
