An authentic gite in the heart of the of the historical center of Boulogne-sur-Mer. Parking available on-spot in the nearby street. The host was very helpful and flexible. The gite was furnished with a style and eqipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. Restaurants and historic sites are all very close (within 200 meters).

Stunning Property in Old Town Boulogne

Beautiful home in a mews in the old part of Boulogne, close to local restaurants, but only 15 minute walk to beach.

Was not expecting to have to pay the 300 Euro cash security deposit (returned when we left) - but I understand why it is levied, given the exquisite nature of the property, its furnishing and ornaments.

The house is extremely clean and chic. The immediate surroundings of the house are beautiful and unique.

The Ad is misleading in terms of the distance between the house and the beach. In the Ad it says beach front, meaning either by the beach or very close to the beach. This house is at least 10 mins drive from the closest beach.

Property was stunning with attention to detail set in the old town... Quiet everything you would need for a lovely break. Well equipped we ate out but.... it had everything you could possibly need.

There was nothing we didn't like. It definitely had the wow factor. Met by Marc & Laurence the owners very nice husband & wife. .

Fantastic gite in the perfect location to explore Boulogne. The decor is wonderful, with all the facilities you could want. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short stroll down the hill to the town centre.

Lovely long weekend enjoying Boulogne.

Location was great, right in the heart of the old town. Bars, restaurants, boulangerie etc all within 2 minutes walk. Free car parking just around the corner as well was an added bonus. The apartment was stylishly decorated and kitted out. Very calm, comfortable living environment with a great shower and lovely hosts! 😄

Great place to stay and ideally situated.

Ideally situated in the heart of the old town. Lots of restaurants nearby along with a very good bar. The property was very well appointed and very comfortable. Lots of room and storage for the two of us. The free car parking around the corner was very useful.

Only a couple of things need looking at. The TV picture kept breaking up and it was nearly impossible to follow a programme. The sink in the bathroom did not drain properly and needs unblocking.

Le gîte est vraiment exceptionnel. Décoré avec soin et goût. La cuisine très bien équipé. Les chambres confortables. Et la situation du gîte dans la vieille ville de Boulogne juste à 2 pas de la cathédrale est vraiment le gros plus.

Leuke uitvalsbasis in het authentieke oude centrum van Boulogne-sur-Mer

Het verblijf was zeer goed onderhouden en voorzien van alle faciliteiten. De ligging in de oude stad is bijzonder en aangenaam. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een bezoekje aan wat de omgeving te bieden heeft (prachtige kustlijn en uiteraard ook Nausicáa) De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en zijn woonachtig in hetzelfde gebouw, met aparte toegang.

De matras van het bed in de master bedroom heeft zijn beste tijd echt wel gehad. Deze kwam het slaapcomfort zeker niet ten goede en ook de pijnlijke rug en nek moesten we erbij nemen. Voor ons helemaal geen probleem, maar als je iets minder mobiel bent moet je er rekening mee houden dat living en keuken zich bevinden op +1 en beide WC's zich op respectievelijk 0 en +2 die met de trap bereikbaar zijn.
