Lovely stay

Eric was a lovely guy, nice and chatty. He greeted us on arrival to show us around the property. He also helped us find the supermarket, which was a 10-minute drive. The cottage was beautifully presented, spacious, and spotless! It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was a fresh bottle of water, two beers, and a non alcoholic drink ready for us in the fridge, which was really appreciated as it was 29 degrees out. We woke up to fresh pastries and bread each morning, which was a lovely extra touch. The bed was so comfortable, and the shower was powerful and hot. Eric offered to make a reservation for us at the local restaurant. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The restaurant was lovely. We sat outside to enjoy our beef dinner and a bottle of wine. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. The local bakery is a must to visit. We're huge dog lovers, so to top it off, we met Pippa, Eric's dog, who was very friendly and energetic. We would highly recommend staying at Le Gite Bleu. We loved every minute. Thank you Eric. We hope to see you again in the future

What a lovely place!

Fantastic hosts, very friendly, accomodating. Nice peaceful location, the gite was spacious, clean, well equipped,lovely extra heating provided with an electric fireplace.Our dog loved it too, she had a chance to play with the owner's friendly cute dog. The breakfast was delicious.Thank you again, we will be back.

Perfect Gite

Excellent accommodation, it's fully equipped, comfortable and all house amenities work perfectly. There is a little outside area to relax and enjoy the peaceful environment. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts also welcomed and helped us upon arrival. I totally recommend this place.

Great stay, but the heating was a challenge

Great hosts, very friendly and polite. The apartment is beautiful and at a great location. Very quiet. The apartment is super spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Our host provided tasty fresh breakfast every day. Also, the best WiFi we have ever had during a stay.

The whole stay would have been perfect if the heating was adequate. The living room, kitchen and dining room are a unified space with a high ceiling. There was a pellet stove available, set at 19 degrees (our host instructed not to touch the temperature regulation); however, this was not enough to cover the whole room when there was minus temperatures outside. All the other heaters in this space were "off". The bedroom and en-suite bathroom had "switched on" heaters, which were only warm- not hot. Overall, the inadequate heating overshadowed an otherwise beautiful stay.

property was beautiful, very clean and full of nice details, very cosy. our host Eric was very fine and nice person, always there willing to make our stay wonderful. full of nice details. the welcoming Champaign was a very nice touch of the french elegance. the surprise every morning with a basket of fresh bread is a very nice detail.

Wonderful, spacious & authentic vacation apartment in the Alsace

The accomodation is beautifully renovated with quality materials, with a spacious living room, bedroom, dressing and 2(!) bathrooms. There is also a nice outside (covered) garden area. Our hosts made us feel incredibly at home with various small attentions throughout our stay. All the necessary applicances (washer, washing machine and fan etc) are provided. One of the best gîtes have ever stayed at. 10/10.

Tolle Ausstattung der Unterkunft, ruhiges Umfeld und sehr netter Vermieter.

Tolles Frühstück und der Vermieter geht auch gerne auf eventuelle Sonderwünsche ein. Bei Fragen oder Wünschen steht der Vermieter gerne zur Verfügung ( er hat netterweise unsere Restaurantreservierungen für uns vorgenommen, da wir der Landessprache nicht ganz so mächtig sind : )

Absolut empfehlenswert

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Es fehlt tatsächlich an gar nichts! Eric hat für uns auch extra ein TV-Abo für deutsche Sender gekauft. Die Wohnung ist sehr grosszügig und hübsch dekoriert. Der Schwedenofen im Salon hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, die Decke richtig kuschelig. Zum Frühstück gibt es wunderbar frisches Brot, Käse, Fleisch, selbstgemachte Marmelade (die war extrem lecker!) Joghurt und Orangensaft. Kaffee und Tee kann man selber machen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr entgegenkommend. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und bestens geeignet für Hundehalter und Velofahrer. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals an Nathalie und Eric!!! 🤩 Moni & Christoph

Increíble es quedarse corto. Hemos viajado para visitar Alsacia y este alojamiento nos ha dejado el mejor sabor de boca posible. Limpio, espacioso, calentito, cómodo, un desayuno fantástico y unos huéspedes amables. He estado en varios alojamientos; algunos muy buenos, pero este está entre los mejores o quizá ocuparía el número 1. Si viajas a Estrasburgo, este es tu lugar ideal porque está cerca y porque dormirás y descansarás como si estuvieras en casa.

Séjour excellent et hôtes très aimables

Une très jolie maison tipyquement alsacienne. L’appartement dans le gîte est très accueillant et doté de tout le nécessaire. Il est aussi très grand et extrêmement propre. Eric et Nathalie sont très aimables et ont préparé un délicieux petit-déjeuner. Ils nous ont aussi conseillé un très joli restaurant à 10 minutes du gîte.

Tout était parfait. Juste une suggestion: vu la dimension du salon (très grand), j’ajouterai un grand tapis devant la télé pour que la pièce soit encore plus accueillante.

Wir habe noch nie in einer so großen und toll ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung unseren Urlaub verbracht. Die Gastgeber Eric und Nathalie waren sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Es gab jeden Morgen ein tolles Frühstück. Und das alles im Herzen vom Elsas. 🇫🇷

Großzügige,schöne Wohnung mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern

Es war einfach alles perfekt. Der Gastgeber war bei unserer späten Ankunft sehr freundlich. Die gesamte Wohnung ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man bemerkt sofort, dass hier mit Liebe gearbeitet wurde. Im Kühlschrank erwartete uns eine Erfrischung. Auch das zubereitete Frühstück war sehr gut.Wir können diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Danke an die freundlichen Gastgeber.

Estancia maravillosa!!! A pesar de que el clima no nos acompañó es La Gite Bleu un lugar tan acogedor que no hay manera de pasarla mal. Eric, Nathalie y su perrita Pipa hicieron todo lo necesario para que nos sintiéramos como en casa. La casa con espacios muy amplios, todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones a gusto. La limpieza impecable.

Un gîte formidable à tout point de vue: un accueil chaleureux, un superbe bâtiment merveilleusement rénové, une décoration cocooning de très bon goût, cuisine très bien équipée, une très belle chambre avec une literie douillette au possible, de très nombreux rangements, 2 salles de bains ( et WC) spacieuses, un environnement très calme dans un mignon petit village.... Nous y avons passé quelques jours en hiver mais j'imagine qu'en été, le cadre et l'aménagement extérieur apportent encore une touche supplémentaire... Les petits -déjeuners servis sont excellents, variés et complets... Eric est d'une gentillesse rare, serviable et disponible...une belle rencontre... N'hésitez pas: cette adresse mérite vraiment le détour....

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung.
