Arriving late at night off the ferry the gates are locked you have to leave your car at the gate walk up to the hotel checkin and pay to receive the gate code although i had paid in advance i had to register at the machine and it was dark and i am disabled i felt very vulnerable Gate code should be sent with booking info

Price was reasonable. Location was good due to distance to ferry, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We were travelling by motorcycle, arrived on a late ferry and stayed prior to heading south next day

a Minor thing, a kettle in the room would have been my only suggestion, being British, we do like a brew and carry supplies to make our own.

Excellent value for money, immaculately clean, everything was so easy to manage and the breakfast was also very good value.

Nearby restaurant and wine bar compensated for low grade B&B

Restaurant opposite provided excellent food and very friendly staff. Dog was welcomed. Bar behind this was wonderful French wine bar.

Decor was very tired, as was receptionist. Although he was helpful and changed our room when the TV did not work. More like a Formula One than usual B&B standard. Really, really basic.

Dreadful, they cancelled our room.

We arrived at 10:30pm after a long day travelling from the north of England. We tried to check in with the confirmation number number from booking.com. It didn’t work. Because it was late the reception es wasn’t staffed so tried the intercom and was told very bluntly that our room had been cancelled. Tried to ask why but the man was incredibly rude and just kept reappearing the same thing with no explanation. I had received an email and text confirmation of the booking just a few hours earlier. We ended up having to book again there and then via booking.com but paid €50 more as there were no family rooms left so had to book two rooms. Our kids were tired and distraught by the time we were in our rooms. We were then kept up until 1 am by people talking loudly a the check in terminal because our rooms were ground floor right next to it. The room was dusty and had cobwebs in it and only one towel. A really bad experience and not cheap either. We spent the same the next night on a lovely Novotel with a pool and it included breakfast!! We won’t be staying in this chain again and it’s made me wary of using booking.com.

Staff is kind but the rooms are overpriced. No aircon! I would rather stay in the city next time.

It was in an excellent location just off the N158. It was clean and great for an overnight stopover. Restaurants nearby were very good. Definately only a 2 star. Breakfast was an additional cost. The continental was great ie croissants were very fresh but the hot food was disappointing!

Noise travelled from adjacent rooms. Hot food at breakfast was disappointing.

Exactly what was required. Cheap, clean and comfortable bed for the night after leaving the ferry before onward journey.

Hotel was very easy to find and upon arrival the gentleman at reception was polite and efficient..Room was spotless and much roomier than expected.

3rd level and although not too high was a bit of a trek.

Overnight before heading south

The room was of a good size and comfortable. En suite had everything needed and all facilities worked. The bed was comfortable. We had to have the window open and experienced road noise even in the middle of the night. Breakfast was good with a selection of breads pastries and conserves. The scrambled egg, bacon and sausage was a bonus. The staff member was cheerful, welcoming and helpful. We have used this accommodation on several occasions as gives us a head seat on the journey south but a quieter room would have been appreciated.

Location easy to find and near the ferry. And breakfast were very good choice. Parking very close to room. Easy to check in at the machine.

More like a motel, room very small. No personal touch, plain white box. But it did the job.
