Maison typique et de caractère, beaucoup de charme, avec une terrasse en roof top où il fait bon petit déjeuner et dîner. Belle vue. Couchage principal très confortable. Notre hôte Elisabetta est très gentille, pleine de bons conseils sur les restaurants, traiteurs, plages, etc…

Great House with sunset terrace. Original and not over renovated to preserve the character. Yet all modern installations.

The host (Elisabeth) was great. Gave us a lot of valuable tips for getting around… beaches, restaurants, places to see, etc. Matino is a beautiful town and the location (if one wants to go around Puglia) is great. The accommodation is a part of a very old building. Beautiful and authentic with a great balcony.

Anyone taller than 180-185 mind your head in the apartment. When they built those places a couple of hundred years ago, people were much shorter :) Just a heads up (no pun intended) :)

The apartment was lovely. We are a family of 5, including two teenagers and we were very comfortable in the apartment. There were 3 double beds, one in each bedroom and one in the common area. The beds felt like futon type mattresses. The shower was spacious and clean. The kitchen has a small fridge, a stovetop, a microwave, kettle, and moka. The rooftop terrace is lovely, although we didn't spend much time up there due to the heat. There are some somewhat steep steps to get up to the apartment. Overall, the apartment was comfortable and packed full of charm. The location is in a small non-touristy town. It has supermarkets, restaurants, and a fantastic bar/cafe nearby. The parking is on the street, free, and easy to access. The streets are very narrow though so I would not want to bring a larger vehicle into this town with the many one way streets. The location is perfect for many different outings. We went to both coasts within 20-40 mins drive. The host, Elisabetta, was fantastic. She communicated clearly (speaks English and Italian) and responded quickly. She gave recommendations to restaurants and beaches. I researched many different options for our vacation to Salento and this was a very good value for what you get.
